The pair stumbled inside to Joe's house, not waiting a second before kicking their shoes off. Cocktails made for a rather handsy Clementine, but Joe wasn't one for complaints.
Minutes into their steamy make-out session, Joe stopped.
"Clem, you're drunk."
"So are you."
"Exactly. Which is why, we should wait," Joe stood up, rushing to the shower and turning it on hot. Planting a kiss on her head, he dropped her duffel bag from the foyer onto his bed, where she sat, drunkenly pouting.
Planting a kiss on the top of her head, he chuckled, "how about, get a shower and meet me downstairs."
And she did just that.
That night they fell asleep, snuggled up on the couch, rejuvenated and refreshed from their showers, yet equally drained from their night out in Hollywood.
And Clem couldn't take her mind off Joe. And Joe couldn't take his mind of Clem - and a little bit of Russell - watching as her chest rose and fell while light breaths came from her mouth and those eyes fluttered shut.
