Louis' POV

it's been a good three days since Harry hasn't been at school and I'm about to panic. I would be fine if Harry called or sent me a text, but no, he did not answer any of them.

What if Harry was in the hospital? What if Harry was kidnapped? Raped? Killed?

Niall, Liam, and Zayn told me that I was just being paranoid but it's been three days. I haven't seen or spoke to my best friend in three.

I mean, I understand that Harry and I are capable of not speaking for over a week, but, we only did it because I was an idiot and Harry was upset with me. Did Harry not fully forgive me that he decides to ignore me? Did Harry decide that he chose wrong and did not want to be friends anymore?

"Louis, you're really quiet and I know you are silently panicking," Liam said.

"Yeah, Louis, Harry's probably sick or something. If he doesn't come for the rest of the week, we can visit him," Niall said.

"I can't wait until Saturday! I need to know what's happening with Harry,"

"You should go visit him today then, you'll have you questions answered and you'll see that he's actually alive," Zayn said.

"Bring some soup or something, just in case he is sick," Niall suggested.

"Alright, I'll go today after school."

"Message us if something bad happened to him," Liam said.

"I will."

Lunch ended and we all scramble to our class. It's so quiet but so loud when you walk down the halls by yourself. I mean people around you are so loud but it's so quiet inside me. I need Harry, I can't handle this change.

Once school ended, I grabbed what I need from my locker and basically ran home. I was thankful to see my mother on the couch watching the news on television.

"Mum, I'm really sorry to bother you but can you do me a favour?" I asked while walking up to her a give her a kiss on her temple.

"I don't even get a hello, this favour seems important."

"I'm sorry mum, I haven't seen Harry at school in a while and I just really miss him and I just want to see if he's alright," I said.

"Have you tried calling?"

"Yes, he didn't answer any of my calls or text," I said looking at my phone to see if Harry responded. Sadly he didn't.

"Louis you need to calm down, I'm sure Harry's fine. You haven't seen him in 3 days and you already have separation anxiety with him."

"He's my best friend mum, I need to make sure he's alright," I said defending myself.

"Alright, alright," my mum said while putting her hands up to surrender. "What do you want me to do?"

"Make chicken soup for Harry, please?" I asked nicely.

"Louis, all my chicken soups come from pre-package boxes. You could easily make yourself if you followed the instructions."

"I don't want to get Harry under cook or burned soup, can you just do it please??" I asked.

My mum rolled her eyes while laughing at me. I'm not very good in the kitchen, I'm being thoughtful enough to not sacrifice our house just to make soup for Harry. While my mum makes the soup, I take a shower and changed clothes. I don't think Harry would find me appealing when I smell like sweat.

My mum places the soup in a thermos and into a plastic bag. I kiss my mum a good bye before I walk over to Harry's house.

I arrived in front of his door, I hesitantly ring the doorbell hoping I wasn't bothering them. A few seconds later, Anne opened the door, she looked a little gloomy.

"Hey Louis," she said surprised to see me.

"Hey Anne, I'm sorry I came her without an invite but I worried that something was wrong with Harry, since he didn't come to school in a while," I said.

"How thoughtful of you, why don't you come in, I'll go see how Harry's doing," she said.

"Okay, and I brought some chicken soup, just incase Harry was sick or something," I said while I walked into their home and handed her the thermos.

"Thank you so much Louis. You wait in the living room and I'll be right back," she said.

I walk into their living room and sat down in one side of the couch. It takes about five minutes before I hear someone come down the stairs. I was really happy to see Harry when he walked into his living room.

"Hi," he said smiling weakly at me.

"Hey Harry, how've you been?" I asked.

"I've been alright, how about you?" Harry asked.

"I've been good, I was just worried something happened to you," I said.

Harry shakes his head. "I'm okay Louis," Harry said. He walks to the couch I was sitting on and sat right beside me.

"Are you sick or something?"

"Somewhat yeah," he responded.

I look at Harry closely and he doesn't look sick at all, he just looks exhausted and emotionless. This isn't the real Harry.

"When will you be back at school?" I asked.

"Soon I hope," Harry said not even looking at me.

"I really missed you Harry and I was worried. You didn't even call and text me back," I said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to be around my phone. I'll answer your texts and calls when you call or message me," Harry said without expression. It's beginning to worry me.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked.

"I am Louis, I will be coming back to school soon," Harry said reassuring me.

"Okay, I'll let you get some more rest, I'll call you later on tonight," Louis said.

"Okay, see you Lou," he said.

I wanted to give Harry a hug but I can tell he wasn't comfortable with it. He walked me to his front door and said our final goodbyes.

There was something different about Harry and it was starting to worry me.
