Relapse In Time

Part 1

"I never said anything about killing him, all I said was that stopping him isn't going to be as easy as it usually is" Natasha holds her hands up in defence as Tony shoots her idea down. Thor nods, "She's right, flying saucer man looks a little odd" he smiles. Steve sighs and stands up, "nothing about this mission is hard, not if we have a solid plan that everyone is willing to stick to. No wandering off and doing your own thing" he shoots a side glance at Nat who's already swinging on her chair.

         Tony holds his hand up, "we will complete this mission, with a solid plan. Rogers, you're in charge. We have people depending on us" he shuts the hologram down as everyone stands up.  However... the loud slamming of the compound doors brings everyone to a sudden halt.  Their eyes averting to the doors behind them. Wanda steps forward as vision moves in sync, "it's a child" she tilts her head. Tony pushes through them to get a closer look at the intruder, "how'd she get in here? The security system should've gone off..." he pulls his phone out of his pocket. He sighs as he reads the system damaged notice on his screen.

"She killed the cams..." Tony shakes his head. Steve steps forward to join him at the front, "she might not be alone" he whispers. Tony looks around at his team, "Sam, scan the perimeter" he whispers. Sam nods and runs out the back as the girl slowly starts walking forward, a mask and pair of black goggles fitted onto her face. Steve looks around, "she doesn't exactly look friendly..." Bruce strains his muscles, attempting to get the hulk to shine through. Tony shakes his head, "you're a little rusty man, just sit this one out" he warns his friend. Bruce sighs and sits back down, "hmm" he grumbles.

         "Rhodes, go reboot the system. Call Clint. We might have an attack here.." Tony orders, James nods in response and sneaks away from the group.  Thor stands up, "how can I assist?" He holds his hand out, smiling as his hammer lands neatly in his hand. Steve steps forward as the girl reaches the middle of the room. She rips her right sleeve off to reveal a metal arm, a lot similar to a dear friends'...

"What in the bucky Barnes..." Steve mumbles under his breathe. Sam reappears and rushes into the room, "she came alone" he announces but stops when he sees the young girls arm, "this situation doesn't look promising" he shoots Steve an intimidated glare. Steve shrugs, "it can't be that bad, she looks about ten..." he runs towards the kid.

The young girl ducks and kicks the back of Steve's leg, making him fall to the ground, "someone call T'challa, get bucky down here. Now!" Steve yells over the sound of metal hitting the floor as the girl misses his face, whilst he rolls away rather quickly. Thor steps forward as the girl ignores Steve laying on the ground. Steve gets up and looks at the girls course of movement, noticing that she's throwing furniture, and people, out of the way just to get to Tony, "this is hydra's doing, she's here to kill you, Tony" he remembers the familiar situation with one of his closest friend. Tony backs up as his suit takes over his form, "great" he replies sarcastically.

          "Buckys on his way" Sam announces.  Steve runs forward and tackles the girl to the floor, "I would've done that, I just don't want to hurt the child" Thor smiles.  Tony sighs, "in case you haven't noticed, Thor. But this kid isn't much of a kid right now. So I advise you start fighting!" Tony yells over the commotion.  Steve shakes his head, "shes strong, just not as strong as us..." he grunts as he manages to pin the kid to the floor.  He watches as she squirms and thrashes around, "get her to the basement, there's an industrial cage. She won't be able to break out of that" Tony steps forward. 

          The young girls head snaps up at the sound of Tony's voice, "let me go!" She screams.  Steve looks up, "this is hydra alright..." he pants for air as the girl keeps up her fight.  Nat huffs as she sits back down, "looks like you got it under control" she shrugs and returns to playing with her knife.

         "Took you long enough" Sam greets Bucky at the compound doors.  Bucky scoffs, "funnily enough, Wakanda isn't just down the road" he retorts.  Steve joins them as they walk down the stairs, "why am I here?" Bucky enquires.  Steve leads them down to the basement, "we have a situation" he replies calmly.  Bucky nods, "I figured that much" he raises an eyebrow whilst shaking his head, "what kind of situation?" He adds.  Steve stops in front of a glass cage, "see for yourself" he watches as Bucky walks up to the industrial style glass.  He furrows his brows, "who's that?" He shakes his head. 

          "Mini buck" Sam folds his arms.  Both Steve and Bucky shoot him a small glare, "what? I thought it was fitting" Sam defends himself.  Steve sighs, "we don't know, she's currently in 'I wanna kill everyone' mode right now. Hence the cage" he folds his arms.  Bucky doesn't even flinch when the young girl punches the glass with her metal arm, given that she doesn't even shatter the glass since it's so strong.  Bucky shakes his head, "I don't get it, I thought hydra was gone" he steps back to sit down on a nearby seat.  Steve nods, "it is, as far as we know. We just don't know what to do with her. Maybe you can help" he looks over his shoulder.

          "I'll call Shuri down here, she's the one you should be asking, not me" Bucky stands up to leave the room for a second. Sam frowns, "you don't like the nickname I gave her?" He turns to face Steve. Cap takes one look at same and shakes his head as he walks away to take a seat behind the computer screens. Sam sighs and turns to watch the young girl punching the glass, "I thought it was good" he shrugs.
