Relapse In Time

Scott looks up as a huge gust of wind blows the contents of his taco onto the ground, his eyes nearly pop out of his skull when he sees a huge quinjet landing in the aerospace, "hey humie! Where's big green?!" A raccoon yells at him, "I-kitchen, I think" Scott calls out in return. He watches in shock as an alien looking woman walks past him, "wow, thats... amazing" he nods. Nebula sighs, "Rhodey, careful on re-entry. There's an idiot in the landing zone..." she speaks into her shoulder. Scott shakes his head in amazement before Rhodey lands ahead of him, scaring the living daylights out of him, "oh god..." Scott clutches his stomach.

Rhodey keeps his shield up, "what's up? Regular sized man..." he nods before vanishing. Almost immediately after the mini heart attack, the hulk walks past and holds out two of his tacos for Scott to take, although he seems a little lost for words to say thank you right now...

"Can I come with you two? I'm not listening to Scott's jokes any longer" Veda runs after Bruce. The giant turns around, "as long as Cap knows where you are" he nods. Veda sighs, "you do know I'm not a kid anymore, right?" She raises her eyebrows. Bruce chuckles, "you're most definitely still a kid, now go let him know you're with me and rocket. We'll wait up" he nudges her arm. Veda sighs, "okay..." she groans before running towards the compound.

"New Asgard... I thought it would be a little more, I don't know... bigger?" Veda looks at rocket. The raccoon sighs, "it's something" he nods. As the car pulls up, the smell of fish and sea hit their noses, "he won't talk to you" a woman speaks up. Veda let's Bruce and the woman speak as she looks around. She stops when she sees two kids trying to open a jar, "it's stuck..." the boy grunts. She crouches down and holds her metal arm out, "woah..." the little girl looks up as her brother hands over the jar. Veda smiles as she pops the lid off, "thanks!" The boy smiles. The young girl watches in awe as Veda walks away, sometimes it's nice knowing that her super strength comes in handy for something civil for once.

"The kid on TV called me a dickhead again..." the alien announces mid conversation. Thor gasps, "noob master?" He ignores Bruce. Veda looks up at the giant however bruce can only shrug. Thor takes the headset and begins his rant, threats and poor attempts at cursing before burping loudly and walking over to grab another drink. Bruce follows his friend, "are you okay?" He enquires. Thor scoffs, "am I okay?" He laughs dryly. Veda steps out from behind Bruce, "little one!" Thor embraces her into a strong hug, although his beer belly seems to get in the way.

"We need your help" she smiles sadly. Thor huffs, "my days of helping are over" he waves her off. Bruce sighs, "we need you, man. We have a chance at bringing everyone back, but we need all hands on deck" he informs. Thor freezes, "you're bringing everyone back?" He enquires. Veda nods, "we're trying to, but we need your help" she sighs. Thor nods, "let's go save the world friends" he chimes. Bruce sighs, "he's already drunk" he whispers. Rocket walks away, "the stench is unbearable" he exits the house.

"Clint!" Veda runs up to her friend, whom she hasn't seen in years, as he welcomes her into a warm hug. Clint smiles, "my god, you've grown. You're a lady now..." he cradles the side of her head, already feeling like she belongs in his family. He sees many similarities between Veda and his daughter, it's reassuring. She smiles, "you don't look too shabby yourself" she softly punches his arm. Clint chuckles as Tony clears his throat, "we're working on building our time machine as we speak, but we need teams. I want a team working on suits and all things preparation, and a team for building. Who's good with technology?" He looks around at his small team.

Bruce, Nat, Steve, Rocket and Veda raise their hands. Tony nods, "okay, you guys are with me. Scott, you gather everyone else in the lab. See what you can come up with. Just don't break anything..." he warns. Everyone nods and separates to fulfil their duties.

Within an hour, the time machine is pretty much built and Veda has hacked three power stations to supply the thing, "that's incredible, but terrifyingly illegal. You ever thought about become an fbi agent?" Tony watches the now young adult as she discloses their information and whereabouts. Veda snorts a laugh, "Where's the fun in legality?" She closes the laptop, "it has enough power to run for a year, we're all set" she jumps down from the stand. Tony shrugs, "teenagers scare the shit out of me" he shakes his head and meets with everyone on the ground.

"You ready, Barton?" Tony stands behind the control panel. Clint nods, "ready" he clicks the button. Everyone watches as he vanishes and the bright lights vanish again, "hopefully he comes back in one piece" Tony looks around. Scott nods, "I came back as a baby" he sighs. Tony rolls his eyes, "could we not have kept that version of you instead?" He pulls the lever down again. Scott gasps in offence as the lights blind them all again, yet within five seconds, Clint reappears in one piece. Nat and Veda run up onto the machine, "you okay?" Nat enquired. Veda notices the baseball glove he's holding in his hands, "it worked" Clint looks up. Bruce cheers, "what? This is revolutionary..." he sighs. Tony looks up at his creation, "well, holy shit" he nods.

After two hours of discussing where the stones are situated before thanos selfishly snapped his fingers, they're now ready to go back in time for their bids of a successful time heist, as Scott has labelled it. Tony and Scott are a team, heading to New York to find the tesseract. Nebula and Rhodey are headed to Morag to get the second stone. Nat, Veda and Clint are headed to vormir to get the third. Thor and Rocket are headed to Asgard to grab the fourth. Bruce is headed to New York to get the fifth. And lastly, Steve is also headed to New York to get the final stone. Tony takes one look at everyone, "all six stones, back here, on time, whatever it takes" he warns. Everyone nods and assembles their masks. Let the heist begin...
