School was officially open again. Metal detectors were installed to instill more comfort for parents and students, Police officers surrounded the school, not leaving an inch of it unsupervised. Although the school took up a lot more precautions, no one truly felt safe. After everything that had happened, who's to say the sneaky bugger couldn't sneak a weapon in the school and strike another student? Or who's to say they wont go to someone's house and murder them there?
Everyone was on high alert, prepared to be attacked. But the day went on, nothing happened and so people started to assume the murders were officially over- kids that weren't apart of the glee club anyway.
Everyone in the glee club were on edge the entire day. No one wanted to be alone, and no one especially wanted to be walking outside alone- even though the school made it a rule that kids must catch public transport or be driven to and from school by their parents or legal guardian.
The glee kids all stood in the middle of the school hall. The day was almost over, and they were all too paranoid to be apart from their friends.
"This is crazy, who'd attack our friends' and principal Figgins?" Sam asked.
"I don't know." Blaine said, "But i seriously despise them right now."
A tear slid down Finns' cheek. He quickly wiped it away and sighed, "They're really making it hard to trust people right now, huh?"
"That so called 'GhostFace' will be caught soon. I just know they will be." Santana confirmed.
"Who'd hurt us, though?" Brittany questioned.
The group thought it over for a couple of seconds, when all of a sudden Kurt let out an exaggerated gasp. The group darted their attention to him, curious to know what came to his mind.
"Sue Sylvester hates us. She hates everyone!" He said.
Everyone but Quinn, Santana and Brittany seemed to be on board with his suggestion. Sure, they weren't exactly close with her, but they never saw her as someone to murder people. The three girls looked to one another then back at the group.
"I don't think Sylvester would do that. She's really not the kind of person to get blood on her hands." Quinn said.
Mercedes brought her lip up, "She has no boundaries. I personally don't think she'd be afraid to murder someone."
"Maybe you're right. But for now, all we can do is nothing. We have to leave the investigating to the police." Santana simply said.
A loud high pitched squeal startled the kids as the school speakers were being turned on.
"Attention pathetic students, highly insensitive administrators and whomever may be on this school property, please come into the gymnasium, immediately."
An aggressive woman practically shouted into the school speakers.
"Speak of the devil." Artie sighed. His eyes were awfully red, a lot like Finns'. They'd both lost someone they cared about dearly.
"Is she going to go all Battle Royal on us?" Mike asked.
Everyone piled into the gymnasium and found their seats. Kids were shocked to see Sue Sylvester standing in the middle of the room with a devious smile plastered on her face. Once the room settled to a quiet whisper, Sue stepped forward to the mic place in the middle of the gymnasium flooring.
"Quiet down kids..... Quiet down.... QUIET!!" Sue shouted, making everyone jump. Sue cleared her throat. "It's come to my attention that the school no longer has a principle, as you're all aware, our beloved principal Figgins was tragically murdered- Any who, i'll be taking over his position, so if you need anything ~come to me~" Her smile grew wider.
A lot of frightened faces formed on kids and teachers on the bleachers. Sue was the worst person anyone could ever have as a principle. The school would be up in flames in a matter of seconds! A lot of quiet murmuring took place right after Sylvester's speech. Obviously Sue had known no one would be fond of this new situation, yet she loved every second of that.
Santana looked to her friends seated beside her, "Okay, seriously, what the fuck. I'm not going to school here if she's going to be my principal!"
"Agreed." They all said in unison.~~~~
Quinn unlocked her front door and walked inside. Without any bother, she threw her school bag on the ground beside the door, while she walked up the stairs and into her bedroom. Today was the day her parents finally came back into town, which made Quinn feel relieved knowing she wouldn't have to spend another night alone.
The young girl stayed up fairly late that night, expecting her parents to walk in through the front door, but after the time reached three in the morning, Quinn found herself messaging her parents asking when they'd be back.
'We won't be back until another week from now, i'm sorry. Things happened.' Replied her mum.
'Great' Quinn thought.
"Another week on my own while a serial killer is running loose."~~~~
Artie and Kurt were hanging out at Artie's crib. Kurt was trying to keep Artie company, especially with the loss of Tina. Although her loss affected everyone, it had affected Artie the most. He was so brought down his eyes wouldn't go back to their regular size. He found himself crying almost all day every day the week Tina died.
"Is there a movie you'd like to watch?" Kurt asked in a calm tone.
Artie shook his head. "I really only watch NASA related movies, and no offence, i don't think you'll be able to keep up if you're watching it."
Kurt revealed a small smile and chuckled, "You're right. They're not really my thing anyway."
"Maybe we should just go to bed, it's awfully late, after all." Artie suggested.
Kurt agreed and the two boys got comfortable in their separate beds.
Not long after Kurt and Artie had fallen asleep, a loud knocking came at the front door. Kurt awoke and rubbed his eyes. He cautiously stepped into the hall and peered down it, waiting for Artie's mum to wake up and check the peep hole. But it appeared she didn't hear it, even though her bedroom was right next to the front door.
Kurt looked back into the bedroom he and his friend were staying in, to see if Artie was still asleep, and sure enough, he was. Feeling awfully uneasy about the situation, Kurt slowly walked back into the room and crawled onto his blow up mattress. Just as he was about to shut his eyes, the knocking became more noticeable and aggressive. The door was being pounded on now!
Kurt jumped and sprung out of bed, quickly throwing himself onto Artie, shaking him awake.
"What?" Artie groggily asked.
"There's someone at your front door!" Kurt panicked.
Artie sat up and pulled himself out of bed onto his wheelchair. He rolled out of the bedroom to see if his mum was out in the hallway. But she wasn't.
The young boy rolled down the hallway, trying to keep as quiet as possible so the person on the other side of the door can't hear him. Artie stopped in front of his mothers bedroom and pushed her door opened. Scooting forward, he moved to the side of her bed and tried pushing her awake, but she didn't budge.
"Mum?" Artie nervously said aloud.
He turned his mother around and almost screamed at the top of his lungs when he saw her face. Her face was pale and bare, eyes wide open, with blood trickling down the side of her head. She had been murdered!
The banging on the door came to an abrupt stop.
Kurt walked into the bedroom to see what was going on, though as soon as he walked past the dresser, a hooded figure jumped out from the dark shadows and wrapped their arms around Kurt so he couldn't fight them. In a fast motion, GhostFace sliced Kurt's neck open like they were gutting a fish before cooking it.
Artie screamed and reversed his wheelchair to the back of the room. Kurt's body plummeted down onto the ground while GhostFace walked closer towards the hysteric boy. Artie raised his hands in a shielding way.
"S-stop! You don't want to do this!" He shouted.
Each step GhostFace took was a step closer to murdering Artie. Knowing Artie couldn't run even if he wanted to, they took their time walking towards him.- taunting him with every movement they made. Before the distraught boy knew it, GhostFace had stopped right in front of his wheelchair. The tall figure let out a mocking laughter. There was no doubt they had a voice changer attached to them, considering their laugh didn't match the sound of any human. It almost sounded like static.
GhostFace leaned forward, placed their left arm on Artie's shoulder, to which Artie tried to fight off, but he had no strength, especially after being traumatised and still in shock. The masked figure took their knife and stabbed Artie in the stomach. Artie groaned from the pain, and as GhostFace twisted the knife then quickly ejected it from Artie's body, Artie coughed up blood. His face went violently pale and his body jerked once GhostFace made contact with the knife again- continuing to twist the knife inside of Artie's stomach.
The life slowly faded from Artie's eyes, and before he knew it, everything turned black. GhostFace had made yet, another killing.
GhostFace cleaned their knife and walked outside, where another GhostFace stood. The two fist bumped and ran off into the night.
