"She seems..... distracted." Wasabi said while glancing at your highly focused expression on your class worksheet.

"That is an understatement." Gogo leans on her desk. "What's got (Y/n) wanting to get her work done so early and quickly?"

Hiro stopped chewing on his pencil and took a glance in your direction from across the classroom. They were right and it worried him, though he had seen that type of focused energy from Tadashi. "She's on autopilot. Something must be really bothering her."

They watch as you hand in your paper to the professor. The bell buzzed to dismiss everyone to go to their next class and Gogo shoved everything into her bag. "For a whole two weeks? Maybe that horrible stunt, Speckles—"

"—Sparkles." Wasabi corrected.

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. That kidnapping stunt is probably still bothering her. I mean, he had killer robot bears chase her."

"Miss (L/n)." The professor called out before you could step out the door and he held up your paper with a tired sigh. "If you keep speeding through these assignments without trying, it's going to hurt your grades."

You take your paper along with a new blank sheet.

"You know, I'm going to have to report this to Granville, BUT if you turn this in, first thing Monday, with a few correct answers. I won't let her know." The professor watched you walk away without a word and he sighs as he notices Hiro walk up to his desk. "Hello, Mr. Hamada. Is everything alright with Miss (L/n)?"

Hiro hands in his worksheet. "I'm not too sure, but I'm going to see for myself."

The professor hummed and chuckled lightly. "Before Miss (L/n) would turn in her work. Tadashi would take it and give it back, saying to double check her answers. Sometimes he'd mention a surprise if she did well."

It was a little odd when the teacher had said (Y/n)'s grades would be reported to Grandville. Hiro hummed thoughtfully and followed you out of the classroom.

There you were at the lockers.

With a playful grin, Hiro wrapped an arm around your shoulders in a slightly rough manner. "Guess what?"

You fret for a moment at the unexpected hug, then groan, "Depends on the context."

"It involves a 'secret' hero surprise. Something I created for you, BUT, you're going to redo that worksheet with more effort." Hiro gently shakes you. "I'll help you review it afterwards, plus, you can join me and Aunt Cass for dinner before I take you home."

That deal wasn't half bad and getting to eat Aunt Cass' food will be the best. "Alright. You've won this time, Hamada."

"Great! I'll meet you at your lab later today."

Classes had gone by a lot faster than usual, but unfortunately, that gave me time to be in my thoughts. The lab lights shine off the purple chip as the Obake face stared back at me. It should be simple enough, right? My gaze moved toward the small picture of me, Tadashi, and Baymax.

"I know you wouldn't want me to go down that kind of path......I'm sorry, Tadashi."

I take the picture and face it downward, sliding it under one of my textbooks.

"Things are going to get extremely hectic, but it'll be for you."

Withdrawing my phone from my pocket, I sent a cryptic text to the number Obake had given me that other night. 'Tomorrow night.'
