I woke up to that. freaking. screeching.
"AGH!" I squealed, covering my ears with my pillows. Didn't help anything.
I kicked my sheets off, holding my hands to my ears. I started towards the door and threw it open.
"CASEY! YOU STUPID SPARKLY PIECE OF FAIRY! TURN THAT STUPID THING OFF OR I'LL KNOCK IT INTO YOUR AREA!!!!!" I screamed. Suddenly the screeching ceased.
"Thank the Lord." I muttered, sauntering back to my bed.
"Nice view, princess." I heard a smug voice come from the doorway.
I turned around, glaring at him, then myself; all I had on were plaid shorts about 3 inches long and a tank top on.
"Too bad you won't get any of it." I snorted, starting towards my bed again.
"Oh, no. You're not going back to bed. Get dressed and come down to meet your housemates. " he said, closing the door so I can change, then stopped.
"Unless you want me to dress you." He smirked. I growled.
"Get outta here!" I snapped, rushing over to the door and slamming it in his face.
"Housemates..." I repeated to myself. I shrugged and got dressed. "Is this going to be like where we all have to dress up like we work at Hooters?" I muttered, sauntering over to the vanity and stared at my hair. I looked like Shirley Temple on crack, and the red tint in it seemed to stand out even more over my black and white layered shirt and simple fitted skinny jeans. I quickly ran a brush through it and it barely made a difference.
"Screw this!" I said to myself, and ran my fingers through my hair, pulling my hair into a wavy ponytail.
"Dahlia!" Casey sang, rapping on my door. "Get your butt... wait you don't have one... err, yourself out here or I'll come in there."
I snorted and slipped on my necklace on and walked out into the huge hallway. Once again, I was taken aback by how grand it was. Suddenly, I was being pushed forward.
"Come on, move it bedhead. They want to meet you." Casey growled, pushing me along.
I hmphed, and walked warily down the large staircase. What will they be like? How many are there? Will they eat me?
As soon as I looked up, I knew that, if they ever had a house party, I'd be killed.
There were three girls, and I could immediately tell: they were all vampires. One girl in particular caught my eye. She had dark mahogany hair with black choppy side bangs, gold eyeshadow and gorgeous hazel eyes. She was obviously a few heads taller than me, and she was... well proportioned. She had on a black corset looking shirt with the string having a rose on the end, and a leather jacket over that. She wore skinny jeans and converses. As soon as she looked up at me however, she cracked a grin.
"Let's get this straight. If you have already survived that" she looked pointedly at Casey, who glared " for a night and HAVEN'T killed yourself, you're beast."
I laughed. "I'm Dahlia." She came up and hugged me, easily picking me up off the ground. DANG THIS GIRL WAS STRONG.
"I'm Ash. And Casey gets upset cause I can beat him in arm wrestling." She laughed and winked, putting me down.
"Ash is that your official title?" A pretty girl about 5"6 said. She had raven black hair with blue and purple highlights, and pretty dark hazel eyes. She had lots of eyeliner on, that's for sure.
Ash laughed loudly. "Sure is, Lilly." So this girl's name is Lilly. The other girl stayed silent, but laughed at Ash. I turned my gaze towards her. She had gorgeous dark hair with red underneath, and smoky blue eyes. She was only a few inches taller than me with a heart shaped face and an adorable laugh.
