we arrived to the common room and it was just how i remembered it. emerald green sofas, curtains and carpets. gold decorations and oak tables and cabinets and other furniture. paintings hung from the wallpaper. it was so elegant.
i started walking towards the dormitories when pansy shouted, "girls dorms are this way lucinda"
i turned back and realised i was walking to the boys dorms. we all chuckled and i replied, "right yes sorry it's been a long time"
"stupid" zara giggled.
we all walked to our shared dorm. all the beds still in the same place and mine just how i remember it. by the window in the corner. i ran and jumped on it and dust flew in the air. i coughed.
"omg sorry we haven't changed the sheets oh gosh" nancy said worried.
"no honestly it's fine we can change them now" i smiled at her.
we got some new sheets out the drawers and changed the dusty ones.
"there all new" i said.
i started unpacking my 2 suitcases. yes i brought a lot because of everything i bought with aunt shiela and couldnt decide what to bring so i packed it all. the girls helped me and after nearly an hour we finished.
"finally my arms hurt" pansy groaned.
we flooped down on our bed and laid for a few mins. i was almost asleep when nancy tapped me. " we are gonna be late luce cmon"
i groaned and went to my closet to pick an outfit. we all just decided to stay comfy.

we all arrived at the boys dorm and knocked. when they didn't answer we knocked again and again and again until we barged in.
"assholes" zara said to them
they all laughed. i explored the room with my eyes and saw those same hazel eyes. they looked me up and down and then i realised it was mattheo. wow i must say he has grown up over the last 2 and a half years. pansy sat next to blaise on his bed, zara sat next to theodore on his bed and nancy on dracos bed. that means i had to sit next to mattheo.
"lucinda it's glad to have you back" blaise said while smiling.
"it's good to be back aswell" i smiled.
i felt eyes burning into my back. mattheo. his bed was in the corner of the room just like mine. it was comfortable and looked identical to mine and every other bed except it had his own smell. well no shit.
"guys look what i haveeee" nancy said sounding excited.
i looked over to her and spotted a few packs of cigarettes.
"but we can't have them all this time because i want to save some" she whined.
"and i have this" mattheo said from behind me and ducked under his bed to pull out a bottle of vodka. everyone shrieked of excitement.
"since when does everyone smoke and drink" i asked mattheo with a whisper.
"since 5th year when we started partying. it's the best thing to distract and enjoy yourself" he replied
"trust me i know" i said then yelled "well i'm in to do it"
everyone cheered and we all started smoking and passing the bottle of vodka round. i've had alcohol before because i used to sneak it in italy from my parents wine cupboard. it used to distract me and make me feel happy. i also stole my fathers cigarettes and smoke them on the balcony of the apartment when i was home alone.
we all started laughing and joking around when blaise said to everyone "watch this"
he grabbed pansy's neck and tilted her head back. he took a swig from the bottle and poured the vodka into her mouth from his but not kissing.
we all gasped and they smirked.
"i wanna try" i joked.
"i'll do it with you then" mattheo said.
i looked at him with shock and confusion and said, "i was joking but" i was cut off my him grabbing my neck and tilting my head back.
"open" he said.
i did and he drank from the bottle. mattheo then came close to my mouth stared at me in the eyes, piercing my soul and let the liquid pour from his mouth down my throat. i swallowed it and then sat up. we were so close the tension was unbearable.
gasps were heard around the room. i giggled as i leant back onto the bed making myself comfortable.
an hour has passed and it was 11pm. surprisingly none of us were that high or drunk really. mattheo was laid down on his bed. draco and nancy were cuddled up and so were pansy and blaise. zara and theodore were kissing and giggling. i was sat up. it was slightly awkward knowing everyone was in a relationship except me and mattheo cuz we didn't rlly know what to do.
"guys i'm quite tired i think we should call it a night, besides lucinda has her first classes tomorrow" nancy said.
"yeah i'm tired too" i said.
they all kissed goodnight to each other while me and mattheo just kind of stood there?
"well aren't you gonna say goodnight?" i finally said to him with a chuckle.
"goodnight lucinda" he said making eye contact
"goodnight mattheo" i said smiling. then we all went to our dorm.
