"correct, the ingredients are in your textbooks please begin making the potion"

everyone got up out of their seats and made they way over to the ingredients cupboard. i walked over to mattheo who was choosing his ingredients.

"oh riley? i didn't even know anyone could join this late in the year"

i smiled and walked over to the cupboard to get my ingredients. i had collected them all when there was one on the top shelf that i couldn't reach. suddenly i felt a presence behind me and an arm above my head grabbing the jar and handing me it.

"thanks" i chuckled awkwardly and walked back to my seat.

everyone began making the amortentia, adding ingredients and stirring the fluid round and round until it was a funny colour.

"okay everyone your time is up we will now take turns to smell it, mr weasley you are first" professor slughorn said.

professor slughorn went through everyone else before finally riley.
