we arrived at the dorm and i knocked.

"hey luce it's me there is someone that want to speak to you"

no answer. i opened the door to reveal the room empty. i checked the bathroom and again empty.

"that's weird she isn't here" i said worried.

"oh god she better be okay" mattheo said.

"we should go back to the great hall ima ute we will find her somewhere i'll let you know" i smiled

i walked back to the hall and mattheo went to the bathroom i think.

luce pov

i was stood at the top of the astromany tower. i wanted to get away from my dorm and everyone so this was the perfect place. i looked at the edge and stepped up. i wanted to end it all. i began crying and peeked over the rail only to find ella and her friend walking by and pointing at me calling me names. i was so sick of this. i didn't deserve any of this, or did i?

i stepped up ready to jump when arms swung around me and pulled me back. i fell to the ground and turned around with tears in my eyes only to make eye contact with mattheo. i missed him so much but i was so hurt by him.

"hey hey no do not do that it's okay i'm here" he said and hugged me tightly.

i didn't want to but i hugged him back because i needed comfort and it had to be from him because i love him more than anyone.

"shh" he played with my hair and kissed my forehead.

"why are you here?" i sniffled.

"because i care about you luce and i'm worried for you"

"but why when you broke up with me?" i cried.

"listen, i'm going to tell you why and then you are going to tell me what's been going on with you only if you are comfortable but i promise i will not share it with anybody" he said reassuringly.

"okay" i nodded.

"right so ella put me under s love potion so i would love her and a hate potion so i would hate you. i only know because it wore off when she was clinging on to me and i shoved her off" he explained.

"omg so everything you said wasn't true that fucking bitch i'm gonna kill her next time i see her" i said angry.

"yes everything wasn't true now r you okay with telling me what's wrong?"

"yes i am on one condition" i smiled.

"and what's that?"

"you say you love me"

he kissed me so passionately. i enjoyed every second of it. i had missed him so much i hadn't felt his lips on mine for days but felt like forever.

"i love you" he said after pulling away.

we smiled.

"i love you" i said.

"okay i'll tell you now as long as you don't tell anyone because it's very personal obviously"

"okay so my parents have always hated me and i have no idea why. they always treated my sister charlotte so much better like she was the golden child. but when we moved to italy they treated me as a prisoner. i wasn't allowed to leave the house only rarely and with them and they used to abuse me and shout at me. i also have an eating disorder as you may have noticed. i struggle to eat larger amounts of food or any at some points cuz i got fed little in italy. i have anxiety which affects everything i do. i hate crowds of people except parties cuz they r the best and i hate myself recently especially when ella and her friends are calling me shit or other people say stuff" i say and start crying.

he pulled me into a hug and i broke down.

"it's okay let it all out love" he kissed my forehead.

once i finished crying he said.

"first i think you are the most gorgeous girl in the world and i'm so lucky to have someone like you. you are so lovely beautiful caring and sexy" we chuckled. "second you do not deserve to be treated that way by your parents. they are just jealous and so is your sister. i'm so sorry that happened to you my love and third ignore them again they are jealous of you i mean who wouldn't be you are stunning and if anyone ever says stuff like that again they will be dealing with me" we laughed again. "lastly i'm always here to help you overcome your anxiety and please please eat you need to eat to survive and i will help you get through this okay we will do this together im right by your side forever and ever i love you"

"thankyou i love you" i kissed him.

"now come on let's get you cleaned up and then we can eat in your dorm.
