twenty four💔

it was a normal sunday evening and i was sat by the astronomy tower listening to arctic monkeys through my airpods. i hummed quietly to myself not noticing a figure had appeared at the entrance to the tower. mattheo.

"mattheo, hey" i smiled taking my airpods out of my cold pierced ears. "i haven't seen you since friday" i smirked at the thought of what happened.

"yeah well i've been busy" he said coldly and sat beside me but leaving space between us. weird.

"are you okay?" i asked stroking his arm. "you seem different"

"i've been thinking" he turned to me.

"about??"

"us"

i gulped and had a feeling about what he was going to say.

"okay and what about, us?" i questioned.

"i think we should take a break from each other" he said emotionless and avoiding eye contact.

"look at me" i said turning his face. "what's the reason for this?" i said with tears welling in my eyes.

no answer.

a thought came to my mind, "is this about riley?"

no answer again.

i stood up. "i fucking knew it"

"luce.." mattheo grabbed my hips.

"no don't fucking touch me" i said with tears running down my face. "if you want to throw our relationship away for some fucking guy that ur jealous and that i don't give two shits about and have no interest in him then you fucking do that but u have messed up big time so don't come running back to me when you realised you made a huge mistake because you have, a big fat one"

"lucinda, i'm sorry" he said looking into my watery eyes.

"no your not fucking sorry, piss off" i said with tear stained cheeks and mascara painting my face.

i ran all the way to the common room. i ran until my legs were weak. they gave up on me before i made it to my dorm.

"hey hey luce i've got you" draco said running up to her and pulling her into an embrace.

i continued sobbing. my heart hurting with every breath i took in. my whole body ached with pain. i didn't even realise i was shaking until draco carried me to the couch. he placed me on it and held my body still until i stopped shaking. he stroked my cheek to calm me down.

"i promise everything will be okay just calm down" he said calmly.

draco had always been like a brother to me before i moved to italy. he always cared for me and made sure i was okay just like i did for him. we had drifted though since i moved.

a few minutes had passed and i had calmed down, thanks dracos help.

"thankyou" i smiled looking up at him through my wet eyelashes before drifting off.

"always" draco replied. he covered her with a blanket and left her to sleep.
