"Volleyball?" (Y/N) murmured to herself after their PE teacher introduced what they'll be doing for today's activity.

"I fucking hate sports," Cleo said, loud enough for Hiro, Lynn, Luthor, and (Y/N) to hear.

On the other end of the court stood the six Imperial Scholars in their class. The group is obviously led by the eldest Desmond.

The other students were on the side, watching with fiery anticipation knowing what was about to happen. It was only the second day since another Eden Scholar transferred, and now, a battle between two kinds of scholars is going to be everyone's breakfast.

I mean, a volleyball match between Eden Scholars and Imperial Scholars? Who wouldn't want to witness something like that?!

"Mister Jethro Perez will also be joining our class today. He will be part of the Eden Scholar team for this match," the instructor added while the tall dark-haired man glanced at the side where Hiro was in. His eyes lingered longer on the new addition to the class.

The PE teacher then gave both teams 5 minutes to discuss a strategy or plan to win the activity.

"So, how are we going to win this thing?!" Exclaimed Lynn.

"I've never played volleyball before," Hiro let out.

"Maybe we should just assign our roles and not talk about our history with the sport. That would be more productive," Luthor said in his monotone voice.

Jethro nodded, "Luthor is right, maybe Cleo can be..."

(Y/N) tuned out the conversation as she stared at the other team. Just like them, they were huddled in a circle, talking about strategies and maybe also assigning roles to each member. She just stared at them, her eyes dancing from one figure to another until they landed on one person.

"What are we going to do with Alliah, though?" Lynn asked.

"Is that the girl with the high ponytail?" (Y/N) asked. Luthor nodded, "Leave her to me."

Cleo squints her eyes at her, "What do you mean to leave her to you? Are you a volleyball player or something?"

(Y/N) only shrugged, "Just trust me. Also, I have something to tell Luthor, if you excuse us."

"And what are you going to talk about?" Cleo asked. "We're a team here if you haven't noticed?"

(Y/N) contemplated first before sighing. "Fine. I'll tell you a little fun fact about me."

On the other side of the court, the strategy talk went smoothly. They didn't have any problem with assigning each member their position or creating hand signals. But when they started evaluating the members of the other team, that's when they started having bumps.

"We all know Cleo won't be a threat," Brent said. "She made it clear last year that she and her sports don't match."

"Yeah, we all know the facts about the five. But (Y/N)? What do we know about her?" Natalia prompted.

"I think Alliah should lay low for the first fifteen points. Make sure we have the lead by five points," Demetrius blurted out. Before anyone could complain, he added, "There's a reason why they gave her three Stella Stars. Yesterday, I was wondering why they gave her that amount of stars when she just got in. Compared to the other Eden Scholars, normally, they only receive one. This may only be based on my instincts but I think the stars represent what they are good at. I'll use Hiro as an example to make this clear. He isn't exceptional in anything and is considered a liability but his basketball skills can't be compared. That's the only reason I see why such an institute like ours would take him in."
