CHAPTER 30 WOOOOOOO
__________________________________

A new challenge dawned on you. How were you going to work? Were you really going to wheel your way to and from the school? It wasn't too far away, but doing that five days a week didn't seem that nice. You didn't want to ask Korai to wheel you there either, you already felt like a burden to him, and you didn't want to make it harder on the man.

You soon came up with a solution. You'd meet at Sugawara's house halfway to the school, and then he'd be able to roll, or at least assist you the rest of the way. He quickly agreed to this,

"I could use the workout!"

Thankfully, the school was wheelchair accessible, well, although unintentionally.

The plan was set in motion, and you had made it to your first checkpoint. You heard a door open and shut, and watched the gray haired teacher approach.

"Good morning (f/n),"

"Morning Koushi. Are you ready?"

"Yup!"

He grabbed onto the handles of the wheelchair, and started to roll you along the sidewalk. The path to the school was on a slight incline, but Sugawara was able to tough it out, bringing you to your office inside the school.

"Thanks again Koushi, I know it wasn't easy,"

"It's alright (f/n),"

He rolled up his sleeve, and flexed his arm,
"I'm totally gonna gain muscles from this!"

You both had a good laugh, and he went to his classroom, and you went into your office.

This became a routine for the two of you. You enjoyed walking to school with a friend, as did Sugawara, and he also enjoyed the workout.

"(F/n), look!"

He showed you his arm again, bringing it close so you could witness it in all its glory.

"Wow, it's definitely gotten more muscle,"

You pinched his arm with two fingers, making him retract it with a blush,

"W-what was that for?!"

"I wanted to feel it!"

"...I NEED TO GET BACK TO MY CLASS,"

And then he left, leaving you slightly confused.

"Hey (f/n), some of the team and I are going out for food, wanna come with?"

You looked up from the book you were reading, trying to remember if you knew anyone on the teams.

'Kageyama's there... and Ushijima too,'

"You sure you want me to come? I feel like I might make things awkward, with the whole...y'know,"

"We're meeting at Onigiri Miya's,"

"I'm in,"

Thankfully, Korai had a license, meaning he could drive you to the restaurant. You arrived at your destination, and he helped you out of the car and into your wheelchair.

He wheeled you in, and you spotted the two members of the Adlers that were waiting. You pointed them out for Korai, and he rolled you over to them.

The large one spoke,
"Is this (f/n)? You didn't mention that he was..."

"I got hit by a car!"

You were whacked over the back of the head.

"Don't say it like it's nothing!"

You laughed off the pain in your head, and noticed the black haired setter staring at your condition.

"I'm fine though, really!"

You pulled a carton of milk out of nowhere, and placed it on the table.

"You still like milk, right? I remember you loving this stuff during Highschool,"

He stuck the straw into the carton,
"You still remember?"

You stared at the menu, finding what you were going to order,
"Of course I do! I never forget anything!"

"You forgot my birthday,"

"I WAS FIVE!"

You looked at the tall Shiratorizawa graduate, who was looking at you expectantly.

"Ah, I wasn't too sure what to get you, so I got you a volleyball keychain,"

He gratefully accepted the gift, stowing it away in his pocket.

You got your meals, and hungrily scarfed them down, savoring the deliciousness of the restaurant's cuisine.

You noticed some rice on the face of the setter, who's mouth was full of food, almost giving him a chipmunk-like appearance.

"Oh, Kageyama, you have some rice on your face,"

You reached over with a napkin, and wiped the setters face, causing him to slightly blush. Your friend sighed while witnessing this, knowing that you were working your magic on Kageyama, even though it was unintentional.

He also didn't like the way you looked at Ushijima. It wasn't like you were being disrespectful or creepy, but to Korai, who had known you since childhood, it was pretty obvious. Who could blame you though! Adulthood did wonders to the man.

Eventually the get together came to an end, and you went home, slightly disappointed that you didn't see the owner of the restaurant.
