Today was the day!

No more messing around, Korai was going to finally confess his feelings for you! He was tired of just waiting for you to get the hint, he needed to take the initiative!

But what if his confession would ruin a lifetime of friendship?

No, he couldn't think about things like that.

He'd tell you how he felt, and you'd definitely feel the same.

Right?

Immediately after you woke up and met him in your living room, he sprung into action.

"(Y/n)! I-"

Looking into your eyes, he cracked under the pressure and redirected his words.

"I think you're out of toilet paper downstairs!"

A bit puzzled as to why something like that was so urgent, you just shrugged it off and told him you'd buy some more later.

Goddamnit!

For the following week, Korai would continually attempt to confess to you, but just as he was on the brink of it, he'd choke and give up for the day.

He'd finally decided to man up and tell you how he felt, but he just couldn't go through with it! It was so frustrating!

You were a very important person in his life, encouraging him from the beginning, and supporting him through his career. You always made sure to go to his matches, and cheered for him as loudly as you could.

Then he got a very bright idea.

Liquid courage!

He sat down on the sofa with you and opened a can of beer, watching the news with you.

"I'm glad you agreed to drink with me, (y/n),"

You clicked your can with his,
"Me too, I think I needed this,"

Perfect!

Just a few beers, and you'd be less intimidating, and he'd be a lot more confident!

But his plan backfired.

The alcohol just made him more sensitive and self conscious.

Why would you wanna get with someone like him?

He wasn't super buff like some of your friends, or tall, or charming, and he didn't really have many life skills outside of volleyball either.

The odds were against him!

"Korai? What's wrong?"
You asked in a drunken state.

"Nothin'"
He replied, curling up as his doubts got to him.

"Don't lie to me! I can tell something's wrong!"
You brought your face closer to his, hoping you'd make him cough up the truth.

Instead, the alcohol finally seemed to do something good for the short man.

His lips met yours.

You were surprised, but not averse to this. Drunk on your beer, the two of you continued to kiss, with you pinning him down on the couch.

By the time you pulled away, both your faces were red, a slight smile on both of you.

"Was that what was bothering you?"

He let out a single laugh,
"Heh, yeah,"

"Looks like you didn't have much to worry about then,"

You then made out for another fifteen minutes.

~VERY SUGGESTIVE WARNING BEWARE~

"Hurry up, I've already prepared,"

"When did you have the time for that?"
You asked as you pushed him onto the bed.

"I've been preparing~"

Well if you weren't already in the mood before, you definitely were now.

[SUGGESTIVE WARNING OVER]

The next morning, Korai woke up with a slight pain in his back, but felt more energized than ever.

"Morning, Korai. How you holding up?"

You handed him a cup of coffee which he graciously accepted.

"I'm feeling great. So, last night..."
He tapped his mug as you sat down next to him in the bed.

"Don't worry, I remember it all,"
You said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

His face went red, and he set his mug down.

"(Y/n), put your coffee down,"

You raised a brow as you set your coffee down, and were startled when Korai lunged for you, kissing you all over your face.

"You've got no idea how long I've been waiting for this!"
He spoke before giving you one more passionate kiss.

"I love you, (Y/n)!"

You couldn't help but smile,
"I love you too, Korai,"

...

"Wanna go for round 2?"
