Atsumu was tired of being the a third wheel. His friends all had relationships, even his brother had a boyfriend! And here he was, all alone, living single.
But that was all about to change— if he was lucky. After thinking about it for a while, he decided that you and him would be perfect together!
I mean, you comforted him when he got cheated on before, and he thought that was pretty amazing. There was also the fact that you were friends with all of his friends too, and you seemed to put up with his personality.
So on a nice sunny day, he strolled down to the school you worked at, a single rose in his hand. He'd already pictured it all in his head, he'd dramatically enter your office, throwing the rose onto your desk before approaching you, hooking is finger under your chin before tilting it up to him.
He was already blushing just thinking about it!
But would he go in for the kiss? What if you didn't reciprocate his feelings?
Nonsense! And even if you didn't, you'd probably still be friends.
So after he entered the school, he tried to make his way to your classroom, but he was stopped by an older looking person.
"Do you have a visitor's pass?"
Atsumu blinked in confusion,
"A what pass?"
"A visitor's pass. You need one if you're not part of the faculty,"
Well that definitely threw a wrench in his plans. But no worries! There was still a good amount of time before the school day would end, he had all the time in the world to confess!
That's what he thought, but luck really wasn't on his side today seeing as he got seemingly the most clumsy and slow paced office worker to help him fill out his visitor's pass.
By the time it was completed, it was useless! The school day had already ended and children were flooding out of the classrooms.
He bolted to your office, hoping you'd still be there.
Instead of a dramatic entrance, he struggled for a few moments before realized he had to push on your door instead of pulling.
"Atsumu? What're you doing here?"
Crap! You weren't supposed to register he was here yet!
In a panic, he threw his rose. Instead of landing delicately on your desk, it ended up smacking you on the face.
"WHAT THE HELL,"
All hope seemed lost, but there was still one last part! He stepped forward to your desk, but tripped on a singular marble, landing on your carpeted floor.
It felt like his mind was exploding, and not in the good way.
Everything was ruined! His perfect confession was now nothing but a dream. Would you even have feelings for him after this?
While he was busy with his thoughts, you made your way over to the blonde, staring at him curiously before extending a hand.
"Need a hand?"
He groaned before taking your hand, and you helped him up to his feet, noticing a look of disappointment on his face.
He sat down and sighed in defeat, what would he even say?
"(F/n), I-"
He was cut off by the feeling of a finger under his chin, his face immediately blooming into a bright pink as you tilted his face up to yours.
"I think you know where this is going. Are you okay with that?"
He swallowed nervously before nodding his head, his eyes shaking. Was this really happening? An hour ago he thought he'd be the one doing this to you!
He braced for impact, closing his eyes before he felt your lips come into contact with his.
His mind was exploding, this time in the good way.
When you pulled away he immediately covered his face with his hands, every part of him going red.
"It wasn't supposed to go this way!"
You laughed,
"You're still alright with the outcome though, right?"
He gave you a stern look,
"Of course I am! Yer my lover now, you got that?!"
You just laughed once more before nodding happily.

You chuckled before wrapping an arm around your lover,
"It wasn't bad, was it?"
There were a few moments of silence before he answered,
"It was the best I've ever had,"
"What was that?"
"N-NOTHIN!"
"Atsumu~"
"SHUT YER TRAP, I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING!"
You'd have a lot of friend having the fox as your lover.
