He's taking too long! Magician thought to himself while fighting Reighland. Using a God-tier spell was tiring, even for him. He had to take it easy or else he might end up killing himself...

He sharpened his fingers and swiped at Reighland with burning claws. She was able to dodge them, but not the kick that followed. Now she had her followers rallied by her side. This would be a challenge for him in his condition...

Then, his trump card arrived.

"I see you're quite busy now." Emperor quipped, "Why don't I come back later?"

Magician looked at Emperor, "Emperor, freeze now!"

Emperor sighed in exasperation and used his ability...

Opening Theme:

Outside the tower, the Empress was monitoring the evacuation of the city and the defense Tower was executing as it fired ballista bolts out of its battlements. Suddenly, she felt something strange. She looked around, the people weren't moving; no, the humans, elves, and beastmen weren't moving...the blackfire citizens and centurions seemed to be unaffected by whatever phenomenon just occurred. Everyone walked around the frozen people in confusion and worry.

"Empress, what's going on?" a civilian asked.

"I...I don't know..." Empress replied. She had never experienced anything like this before...

Reighland felt Emperor's ability wash over her like a strange wave, but surprisingly, she was unharmed. She looked over to her side to see Y/N, and the girls still standing by her side...but that was all they were doing: standing. She looked around the room and noticed a steam cloud that hung motionless in the air.

"You certainly took your time!" Magician said irritably.

"You try convincing the World to follow you..." Emperor shot back with his tired voice.

"How long can you hold the freeze?"

"Like this? Five minutes, at most."

"That's more than enough time..."

"What did you do?" Reighland shouted at Magician and Emperor. Magician looked at Emperor, suggesting that he be the one to explain what was going on.

"I am the Emperor, the ruler of the world, and Father Time." Emperor didn't move his pose as he spoke, "I've frozen time, but I made it so that blackfire is unaffected by my ability, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hold it for this long..."

"I'll save you the trouble." Magician said. He made his wrist blade appear again and faced off against Reighland.

Magician vs. Reighland:

"Do you remember when we first met?" Magician asked.

"How could I forget?" Reighland answered, "The memory appears in my head from time to time."

"You were just a little girl abandoned by her family and sold into the slave market. Yet, despite being so young and beautiful, nobody wanted you. Your parents didn't want you, the world didn't want you, nobody wanted you, except me!"

Magician dashed to Reighland and engaged her in melee. Reighland nearly lost her sword from the first strike and was knocked off balance. She moved her heart from her chest right as Magician stabbed her; she winced in pain, but then she grabbed Magician's wrist and went to slash at his chest. Magician stopped Reighland's sword with his hand and forced his wrist out of Reighland's body, leaving a deep gash in her chest. Reighland dropped to her knee as Magician kicked her away, disarming her. He then dashed over and lifted Reighland up by her head.
