"A dragon!" Geralt exclaimed happily, "I thought they were all dead!"

Everyone in the colony looked at the large creature in adoration and fear. The dragon could easily kill all of them if it wanted to, which it, fortunately, did not.

The dragon's rider hopped off its back and spoke to everyone.

"Greetings, all of you." He said with a deep voice, "My name is Yrian of the dragon riders. Which of you is the Hero?"

Y/N stepped forward and raised his hand, "Hey, how you doin'?"

Rathe also stepped forward, "He is the Hero, but I am the one in command of this army."

"Then I suppose it would be best for you to hear this as well." Yrian took a map out of his pouch and placed it on the nearest flat surface. The map had definitely seen some use; there were multiple lines and words drawn on it where he had marked his travels.

"We are here, just past the Snow Range Mountains." Yrian pointed to where the colony most likely was, just past the mountain range.

Reighland pointed to what looked like a bare spot to the east of where everyone was, "And this is where Magician is..."

"Why is that spot looking empty?" Y/N asked.

"Well..." Rathe rubbed his chin, "Our scouts were always killed whenever we sent them out to observe those lands, and no cartographer's brave or stupid enough to try and chart it either...Before the Demon Lord came along, all we knew about that land was that it was full of forests and large plains."

Yrian continued, "That's not the only news I bring. I'm not the only one who has agreed to aid the Hero ever since hearing about his deeds. The other riders have agreed to help as well; I'm only a scout."

If that's a "scout" dragon, I wonder what the fighting dragons are like... Y/N thought as he looked at Yrian's dragon; it was already as large as the dragons he saw in fairy tales and fantasy TV shows, to imagine there was something bigger than that? Ridiculous.

"Alongside us, we've also received word that the elves of the north and the dwarves of the south will be in attendance as well. The dwarves have been working on something for some time now, they say..."

"Well, I hope it works better than their previous 'inventions'." Rathe commented.

"We are scheduled to meet within the incoming weeks..."

"Yrian..." Reighland stepped in, "There was a convoy of arcana members that left this village before we settled here. Is it possible that we could follow them on your dragon?"

Yrian looked up at his dragon. The dragon made a low growl as it gestured to its back.

"Climb on." Yrian said.

Opening Theme:

Miriam woke up with a taste of apples in her mouth. She looked around to see Y/N fiddling with a makeshift oven of some sort as he used his fire magic to cook whatever was inside it.

"Oh, hey. You're finally awake." Y/N said.

Miriam smacked her lips for a bit, "Did you make me eat something?"

"Yeah, I had to force-feed you some applesauce while you were out. It healed your injuries though..."

Miriam looked down at herself. Her robes were stained red and slashed from Suba's strike, but she wasn't bleeding out, and her wound was closed. Then, her face turned bright red as she had an intrusive thought...
