[Scenario 1] How You Met

Athanasia De Alger Obelia

You were Claude's most dependable knight, the youngest knight in the Imperial Palace. You were currently 15 years old. 

One day, Claude and Felix were having a conversation.

"Felix, don't you think I should hire a knight for Athanasia?" Claude inquired. 

"But isn't the princess already protected here in the palace?" The knight said with a confused tone. Claude sighed and clenched his nose bridge. 

"That magician has been snooping around in her bedroom. Athanasia and him are getting too close. There have also been a few troublesome people sneaking inside the palace lately. I'm disappointed that even the knights have not completely solved this issue."

"Ah...then, what about choosing one of the strongest knights you have?"

The emperor's eyes widened when an idea popped up on his head.

"Y/N L/N," He blurted out before turning his gaze to the red-haired knight beside him.

"She's the one I trust the most. Despite the fact that she's my youngest knight, she is incredibly strong." Before Felix could say something in return, The emperor spoke again.

"Call Y/N and tell her to come here." The red-haired knight quickly nodded and started searching for you around the palace.

AFTER 5 MINUTES

You bowed profoundly and said, "Your majesty. What is it that you need?"

"I want you to be the personal knight of my daughter,"

"...Pardon?"

"You must save her from any danger and protect her at all costs." He uttered immediately, not giving you time to think.

"Ah...yes- your majesty! I promise to do my very best as the princess' personal knight!"

"Good. You're dismissed," You gave the emperor one last smile before going to Athanasia's room. 

'I have never went to the princess' chambers...and we barely know each other,' You thought nervously, standing in front of the door. You lifted your hand and knocked to which she opened the door in return.

"Greetings, your highness. I will serve as your personal knight per the emperor's order."

"Oh, I see..." She was dumbfounded as her father never told her that he would get her a personal bodyguard.

"C-come in, please!" She exclaimed, the both of you still facing each other.

"What is your name?"

"My name is Y/N L/N. Please call me Y/N." Athanasia gave you a small smile at your answer.

"Don't be nervous, Y/N! I don't bite. And since we'll be seeing each other frequently, I want you to be my friend!" You slightly widened your eyes then smiled softly.

Cayena Hill

You were sent by somebody to keep an eye on the princess of Eldyme Empire. You were wearing a disguise and was filling in as a servant in the royal palace. 

You went inside Cayena's chambers to bring her food. However, no one was inside.

"Your highness here is your lunch!" You carefully positioned down her food and was going to leave yet you yelped when Cayena harshly snatched you by the collar and glared.

"You're not actually here to work as a maid, am I right?"

You were shock and confused by her words.

"I-I don't have a clue on whatever you mean, your highness?"
