"I'm so sorry, Y/N," she said, her voice choked with emotion. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't think before I spoke. Please accept my apology!"
Her remorse was evident in the way she held onto you tightly, unwilling to let go until she had received some form of response or forgiveness.
Despite the fact that her comment may not have been overtly harsh, she still recognized the impact that her words had on you and felt the weight of her mistake.
As a result, she went above and beyond to make amends, showering you with affection and acts of service in an effort to make things right.
Even after you forgave her, she continued to cling to you, unable to shake off the guilt she felt over her actions.

She looked at you pleadingly, hoping for some kind of response.
"Y/N," she said softly. "I know I messed up, but I'm truly sorry. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?"
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond.
Her words had struck a chord within you, and you could sense the sincerity in her apology. Slowly, you nodded your head, indicating your forgiveness.
Cayena let out a relieved sigh, and a bright smile broke out on her face.
"Thank you, Y/N" she said as she pulled you into a tight embrace. "I promise I'll make it up to you."

"I..." Her voice trailed off as she saw the sorrowed expression in your eyes, and she became even more regretful for the pain she had caused you. She sighed, and rubbed the nape of her neck with a sad expression, before finally mustering the courage to speak.
"I'm sorry," she mumbled, her guilt clearly visible in her eyes as she met your gaze.
"I know I said those words, but please believe me when I say that I didn't mean to say them in a bad way. In fact, it's one of the reasons why I love you," she said, a soft smile playing on her lips. "And just because you have that quality, it doesn't change the way I feel about you. I could never think of you negatively because of it."
She placed her hands on your shoulders and leaned in, her forehead touching yours as she gazed at you with a serious and determined expression.
"I'm so grateful to have you in my life, and I never want to hurt you. Please don't ever think that I could ever see you in a negative light. You mean so much to me."
