(A/N: Sorry for not uploading new chapters. It took long for me to write this because I had to think of ideas for each of the characters. Also some may have cliffhanger as this is not exactly the confession scenario where the relationship starts 😭)

She observed that you have been devoting more time to your best friend who resides next door to your house, which she noticed despite the fact that you usually only interact with her when you're on duty as a knight.
She looked on from a distance, feeling despondent about the situation.
She realized that being a princess doesn't guarantee that she can have everything she desires, especially when it comes to someone she deeply wants. This thought only made her feel even more heartbroken than before.
She made the decision to depart from both of you, opting to leave the scene and turning her back as she struggled to hold back her tears.
"I don't know if this method of confession will really succeed on my confession for the princess."
Upon hearing your words from a distance, she came to an abrupt stop.
For a moment, she was left bewildered, attempting to comprehend the meaning behind your statement.
"Of course you will! After all, I think the princess really enjoys your company. There's a high chance she'll accept your love for her!"
'...'
'What...?'
"She wants to...confess to me?" Athanasia muttered to herself under her breath, with an almost inaudible voice.
As she did so, she felt a sense of elation that washed away all her sadness in that moment.
She then gently placed her hand over her chest, right where her heart was, and felt it pounding rapidly.
Gradually, her frown transformed into a bright and contented smile.
"Y/N wants to confess to me...!" With a sense of satisfaction, she spoke a little louder, though not enough for both of you to hear clearly.
Athanasia's face turned a shade of pink as she walked towards the palace.
She had made up her mind that if you ever expressed your feelings to her, she would accept them without any hesitation.

'Why am I like this?' She wondered, holding onto her desk with a sad and upset expression.
She couldn't help but feel jealous whenever she saw you, her former enemy, hanging out with someone else.
Cayena glanced towards the large window behind her desk, spotting you and your friend strolling past the garden. Your cheeks were rosy, and you seemed both shy and serious as you absentmindedly scratched the back of your neck. Meanwhile, your friend was beaming with excitement as you chatted away.
