The 5th night it got a lot colder a lot faster. The day had drained my energy and I felt weak, I just wanted to sleep for a whole month. Shivering, I put up the tent as Striker made a fire and hunted another boar.
I sat close to the fire with my duvet around me, and slowly drifted off for what seemed like a second.
"Sugar, you gotta eat" Striker gently nudged me "We can sleep soon, but you've gotta eat and have a drink, these deserts require you to have it if you want to survive"
I nodded and leant my head on his shoulder weakly as i tiredly ate. Soon we were done and went to bed, I was still shivering while wrapped up in my duvet, I gave Striker some again and lead next to him, facing towards him.
After a few seconds, I felt him pull me closer and put his arms around me.
I stopped shivering, he was so warm. How?!
I nuzzled my face into his chest and pulled my body close to his.
"You warm enough sugar?" He mumbled in a sleepy voice, it sent butterflies into my stomach.
"Yeah, thank you" I mumbled back as he began to play with my hair gently.
His arms around me felt like a huge blanket of protection against the cold and I drifted soundly off to sleep.

The next day I woke up and Striker wasn't there again but I could hear wind and the tent looked like it was still night but sounded like we was in the middle of a hurricane. I got up and peered outside.
We were in the middle of a sandstorm!
I could barely see infront of me as the wind at the sand whipped across my face.
"Striker!?" I called out, but there was no sign of him or BombProof anywhere. I couldn't hear anything over this wind-so he probably couldn't either.

I scrambled over to my bike and growled up the engine and turned on the light so I could try and see him, suddenly, I heard a crack.
It sounded like a cracked window. But where was this window? I didn't like this.
"Striker?!" I called out again.
The crack was getting louder now and my feet began to slip, I turned off my bike and tried to listen closely. Until I realised where it was coming from I knelt down onto the sand and started to dig. That's was when I realised the 50ft drop I was about to fall down.
The glass fell from beneath me, I tried to grip onto the edge of the window but the broken glass just slit my hand, my bike was falling just above me and I knew this was going to hurt.
I landed, I was mostly okay, most of it was just the initial impact.
But then my bike came crashing down on my leg and I yelled out in pain. I leant my head back and hissed, trying to steady my breath so I could push the bike off. From this angle, I couldn't push it off, I could've probably pulled it up but not push.
I adjusted slightly and used my other leg to push the bike away. I winced as I stood up, leaning on a pillar. I looked at the scrapes all over my leg and sighed.
Where was I?

I heard footsteps a few minutes later and I hid in a dark shadow.
"So, how are we supposed to help you find your friend?" Asked an unfamiliar voice.
"Well, we was looking for this place, so we set up camp for the night, and now I've fallen through that glass"
I heard Strikers voice.
"That's her bike!" He noticed. "She must be here aswell"
That is exactly the opposite approach I would've taken. I felt unwelcome here, something was telling me to get out but I couldn't figure out what.
I saw Striker run to my bike and look slowly at the blood on it.
"Rose where are you?" He called out.
"Are they hostile?" I asked.
"No, they're really friendly" He answered.
"Do they know I'm not their tribe?" I asked.
I heard whispers.
"No, I was more focussed on trying to get back to you" He answered.

I slowly came from the shadow, leaning on a wall.
The other Golden-Eyed Reptiles readied their weapons when they saw me.
"You are not welcome here" Hissed one of them.
"What? Why?" Asked Striker.
"That tribe is the reason all the tribes split up. They're supposed to be extinct, but obviously not"
"Right okay, I understand I'm not welcome, trust me, I do" I explained. "But I'm not 50ft tall so I'm gonna need a way out" I limped over to them, hesitantly. "Do you really see me as a threat? I have nothing but a dagger and a sore leg. I can't do shit"
"I suppose, but how are we supposed to know if you have your ability?" The tallest one asked, cautiously.
"Ability? I don't know any other reptiles" I explained.
The tallest one walked over to me, I couldn't help cowering a little. I felt very intimidated, which was strange. "We are the cobras, you can stay for 3 days, if you find any of your kind alive, good luck" he put a pair of steel cuffs on me so I couldn't do much.
"What do you mean good luck?" I asked, following them.
