That night was full of cuddles and laughs, we watched a movie and ordered food. It was overall a good night but I couldn't stop wondering if he felt the same about me? Maybe he just saw me as company or a friend.

The next morning I woke up to the smell of bacon around 1pm, we didnt get back to sleep while 6am.
I stretched and rubbed my eyes before removing the thick duvet and stepping onto the floor with my scarred feet and stood up, looking out the window into the trees.
I walked over to my phone and picked it up. When I turned my phone on, I found a missed call from my sister.
I called her back and she didn't pick up. Maybe she was busy but I had a bad feeling. I quickly put in my jeans and a vest with my leather jacket and came into the kitchen.
"I'll be 15 minutes, just gotta pop out really quick" I told Striker.
"Okay, breakfast won't be too long, call me if anything happens" He replied.
"Will do" I said back, putting my helmet back on and exiting the house. I got on my bike and roared up the engine before setting off.

As I followed the track away from the cabin and out of the forest, I noticed something coming from one of the trees.
I slowed down my bike and saw her.
Hanging by the neck.
Pale and cold.

I shot the rope and her body dropped into my arms and I loosened the rope around her neck.
I laid her onto the floor and in desperation, I started CPR. Pounding down onto her chest, the breathing into her mouth, tears began streaming down my cheeks. I started begging her.
"Wake up. Please" I pleaded.

But she was gone. I sat back, sobbing. I couldn't hold my breath steady. This couldn't be real. Surely it couldn't be real.

I really was on my own now. Without any family.
Rain began to fall from the sky, roughly an hour later, soaking me and Tara's body and I sat next to her, leant against a tree for hours soaked.

As I sat there, a great rage came over me. Looking at her body in the pouring rain, Tara had wounds everywhere, she had a slow death. She was covered in fang marks, I didn't ever want to think about what they had done to her. I saw red as my full body began to hurt.

My skin became loose and began to cracks and I yelled out in pain as my vision became blurry and doubled up. Soon the pain spread all over my skin, it burned and itched unbelievably bad. I screamed out and tensed all of my muscles as I rubbed all of my face, my hands full of pale white skin.
As soon as my skin came from my face it was so relieving and I needed to get it from my body. Rubbing my arms and legs, each drop of rain cooled me down. Each clump of skin that I rubbed and scratched away, revealed pitch black scales.

My tail was the worst part, it grew and stretched to over double the length it was and the end was sharp. I scratched all of the skin from it before rubbing my eyes back clear and watching purple liquid drip to the floor.

After hours of being in excruciating pain, I felt the rage again. I stood up and sat on my bike, I wrapped my tail around my waist, as now the length was more than my height. My engine roared viciously, as though Basilisk could feel my rage.

We set off to the club, I knew they'd be there, it was as if I could sense them. I arrived at the club in minutes...
