*Ciel's POV*
After awhile of walking through the hallways, we returned back to the very room that Crowley found me and Grim. Except this time the lights were on, so I was able to see the many different colors of books around me, some were even floating as well. Know that I got a better look around, I never realized just how big this room was. But then again, it was dark and hard to see when I first came here. I couldn't help but feel a little dizzy from the amount of books there were that I didn't know where to start.
Crowley and I enter a section of the Library that had books of geography, maps, and world history since there might be a chance to find information. We began looking through the books and maps that Crowley was able to find of different locations around Twisted Wonderland. There were so many different locations that I have never heard or seen before even with my amnesia. I didn't realize just how much time had passed until I heard Crowley sigh while leaning back from his seat.
"Just as I'd suspected. Nothing." Crowley said as I look up from the book he gave me
"Nothing?" I asked him as he nods, I couldn't help but frown at the report
'But there was no way I couldn't have been wrong... Right? I know I'm not wrong about what I said.'
"Not only is your homeland not listed on any map from any point in history."
"But that can't be... I'm sure that London exists." I stated as I didn't want to believe what he was saying.
"Now, are you QUITE sure that you come from such a place? That wasn't some sort of lie, or jape?" Crowley questioned me
"I don't know what jape means, but I can assure you that I do come from London. I have no reason to lie to you considering the circumstances. Why do you ask?" I stated while looking at him dead in the eyes while feeling annoyed that he thinks I'm lying to him.
I didn't like that I'm being accused of lying about something like my home. Plus, why would I lie about my home? It's literally my home for god sakes!
"Because if so, the only explanation is that you've come from another planet. Or perhaps you were summoned here from another dimension?" I looked at him in shock from the information he just laid upon me.
"Another dimension?!" I questioned as being from another planet seems far fetched as that doesn't seem possible, but being from another dimension is most likely the case especially with the fact Crowley said something about time-travel.
"Show me everything that you brought here with you." I look at him in confusion as he cleared his throat to clarify to me what he means since I don't get what he means.
"Do you have some form of identification, a driver's license perhaps? Or even a.. Shoe? You do seem a tad bit... Empty-handed." He said while looking at me.
I began to feel around my body to see if I had anything that could help me figure out about my identity and home. However, I felt nothing on me at the moment besides the robes and under clothing. I looked down to see that I was barefooted, how the bloody hell I didn't notice will never be known. I continued to look just in case I over looked something but I shock my head and decided to give up. I look back at Crowley and shake my head to let him know that I couldn't find anything on me.
"As you said, I've got nothing." I stated with a frown as Crowley began to ponder at my answers
"Well, this is quite the predicament." Crowley said
"Indeed this is."
"I cannot have someone with no aptitude for magic bumbling about my magic academy."
"That's understandable, considering the fact that magic is used for most things." I had an awkward smile on my face.
It's true since from what I can tell, magic is very important here and to not have magic is unheard of after all. Who knows what would happen if I, who can't use magic and have amnesia, joins the school of magic users. It could cause the very foundation that this school sits upon to tip and crumble. I don't want that to happen, I don't want to be more of a burden then I already was. Besides, Crowley already has his mind on the fritz at the moment with the mystery that's going on.
"And yet, as an educator, I am loath to expel a young person without a cent to their name, or any ability to contact their guardian..."
'Do I even have a guardian?' I thought to myself as it feels like my heart is telling me that I probably don't but I shake off that feeling. No need to go into does deeps of waters just yet, that will have to wait for another time.
"Truly, my grace is boundless."
"I guess?" I looked down as Crowley was thinking about what to do next
"Hmmmmm... Ah!" I look at him as he had thought of something that may help me, I hope.
"What is it? Did you think of something that could help?" I asked as he smiles at me "Then can you tell me what it is exactly?
"There is a vacant building on this campus."
"Really?" I tilt my head in confusion since I have no idea how that will help me in this situation as he nods.
"It was, in fact, used as a dorm a long time ago. With a proper cleaning, it should be habitable enough."
"Should be habitable? Did something happen that caused the place to become inhabitable" I asked him but he ignores me yet again.
'Why does he ignore my questions from time to time?' I put that thought away for a moment to focus on Crowley's words at the moment.
"Out of the profound kindness of my heart, I will allow you to live there for the time being."
"Thank you very much." I said as to not offend him by mentioning how he ignored my question, like he did a past couple of times
"In the meantime, we will investigate other ways to send you home."
"That's good, the sooner I get home, the sooner I'll regain my memories." Crowley nods at my words.
"Dear me, but I am a gracious man indeed! A model educator, one might say."
'If you say so...' I looked at him with a sweatdrop but kept my thoughts to myself to avoid hurting his feelings. I don't want to know what he's like when he's upset by something at the moment.
"Well then, I shall take you to your dorm straight away. It is an older building, but it has plenty of... Character, one might say." I gave him a confused look
'What did he mean by that?'
We both leave the Library to make our way to the dorms as I was thinking to myself on what kind of state the dorms are currently in.
'Well, I hope it won't crush me the moment I enter.'
(I'm following the chapters in the game, which is why the chapters will either be short or long as I'm trying to work with what I got.)
