*Ciel's POV*

Both me and Grim were panting as Crowley appeared before us once more, but this time he was back to normal. I was panting since I didn't let my body rest from having to chase after the ghosts earlier. While Grim was panting since he had to use his magic so many times with only having a short break earlier. I knew we shouldn't have taken up the challenge but it was the only way to prove ourselves to Crowley.

"*Pant* *Pant*... Well?" Grim panted

"*Pant* *Pant* How did we do?" I asked as Crowley was intrigued

"Incredible... I've never seen anyone bend a monster to their will quite the way you have." Crowley said while looking at me

"I must confess, my educator's intuition did sense something about you after that brouhaha at orientation, Ciel."

"Can we not bring up the orientation? It's one of the most embarrassing moment of my life at the moment." I said with a little blush at the events that happened earlier.

'Unless I remember a memory more embarrassing...'

"I could tell you had a certain animal trainer-y, beast master-ish quality to you. Oh, yes. That said, I... *mumble mumble*" Crowley continued as he was now mumbling to himself

'I wonder what he means by that since I have no clue what he's talking about.' I thought to myself before speaking

"Would it be possible for Grim to stay with me?" I asked

"WHAT? A monster, stay HERE?" Crowley questioned as I tilt my head in confusion

"So that's what Grim is?" I asked as I look at Grim

I never thought that Grim could be a monster since he doesn't look like monster, he looks more like a stuff animal that I had seen in the lounge. Which is destroyed but still recognizable from my memory. But then again having amnesia doesn't help me out very much at this point but I can infer what a monster looks like. Which are scary creatures, that comes in many shapes or forms, that would either attack each other or people. So, it was a surprise that Grim was a monster, but did he know that he was a monster?

"Whoa, did you just...?" Grim questioned me as he was looking at me.

Even though Grim's personality can put someone off of the idea of having him stay here, I can't help but want him to stay. Plus, what if he had nowhere to go back to or knows the way back to his home. I can't just have him be kicked out again, not after he helped me take care of the ghosts. Also because I don't want to be alone here, since I would probably get bored over my time being here. Since I don't know what I'll do in a place like this once I finish cleaning this place up and there's no games or anything fun to do.

"Please, sir!" I pleaded with Crowley while looking at him, he had a hard time to refuse as he sighs.

"Hmmm... I suppose I cannot deny your plea. Very well." Crowley stated

"Myah?! Really?" Grim cheered as I smile at him

'Thank goodness... I was worried my plea would've been dismissed and Grim would be taken away.'

"Let me be clear! Under no circumstances would I admit anyone to Night Raven College who has not been selected by the Dark Mirror- especially not a monster!" Crowley explains to Grim before looking towards me

"Nor do I intend to allow you, Ciel, to freeload until you're able to return home." Crowley said as I tilt my head in confusion.

"So, what should I do then?" I asked Crowley as I wonder what freeload means since I don't remember.

"Hrmph. Never shoulda got my hopes up..." Grim groans at the news as he was hoping that he would be able to be enrolled to this school.

"Now, allow me to explain." Both me and Grim looks at him as he began to explain the information he has.

"It was the Dark Mirror that transported you here. Therefore this school does bear some responsibility for your well-bring. So I will allow you to remain in this dorm, free of charge. However, you will need to pay for your own food, clothing, and incidentals." Crowley stated

"But how will I..." I trailed off so he can understand my question

"As to how you will do so, penniless as you are... Ah. Ah ha. Yes, a fine plan." Crowley stated with a smile

"What exactly are you planning to make me do?" I asked while being worried

I don't know what he will make me do for the time being as there are a lot of different things that he can have me do that will be bad for me. I really hope what he makes me do is something that I can do with amnesia. Because there is only so much that I can do despite having little memories to my disposal. I would hate to give him a reason to have me be stuck here with nothing to do until we find a way to send me home.

"You needn't seem so alarmed. I'm simply going to ask you to do a few odd jobs around campus. From what you've done here, Ciel, I can tell you know your way around a broom. So what do you say to you two working together as a janitorial team? If you agree to that, I will make a special exception and allow you to remain on campus. I'll also allow you use of the library, so that you may study, and research ways to return home." Crowley suggested before smiling

"How boundlessly charitable I am." I then watch as his expression takes a 180 to become serious again

"Ah, but only when your work is over, of course!" Crowley stated

'Hmm... That doesn't sound to bad of a deal. It will allow me to be out of the dorms for awhile and I can see if the library has any information about what could've caused my amnesia and fix it. Along with any clues to send me home, I can't have Crowley do all the hard work after all since he's a busy man!... Wait a minute, how did he know that I was using a broom? Know that I think about it, I did have a broom in my hand while I was deep in thought. Could I have been sweeping the dust while I was deep in thought?' I thought to myself before looking back at Crowley once more.

"Whaaat? What kinda deal is that?! I wanna put on one of those sweet uniforms and be a student, not sweep up people's junk!" Grim complained with a pout on his face

'But how can you put one on if it doesn't fit you! I mean, have you seen those uniforms? They don't have one in your size, plus I don't think a uniform would look good on you.' I thought to myself with a deadpan look, directed towards Grim

"If you're not satisfied with my offer, I can arrange to have you thrown out again." Crowley said with a deadpan look

"Myah?!... All right, fine! Let's do it."

"Fair enough." I said with a smile

"Wonderful. Then I beseech you both... To work hard as the newest members of Night Raven College's janitorial staff!
