*Ciel's POV*
Once we were back inside of the caves, Ace and Deuce got into position as me and Grim made our way deeper in the caves. I hid behind one of the cavern walls to see that the monster was guarding the entrance to the magestone. I look at Grim, who was still shaking like a leaf and motioned him to go. He was hesitant at first but after encouraging him, he got out of hiding and made his way towards the monster. The monster didn't seem to notice Grim, so Grim called out to the monster to get it's attention.
"H-hey, monster! I'm uh... I'm over here!" Grim said as the Monster looks at him.
"Grrraaawrrr! BEGOOOOONE!" The monster said as it gave chase after Grim.
"He's comin' our way! Ciel!" Grim cried out as I got out of hiding
"Right over here, monster!" I said as the monster looks at me
"Grrurgh? Thieeef thiiis waaay tooooo... Neeevvva giiive stooones! Neeevvvaaa!" The monster yelled as it chased me.
"Eep! If it lands one of those punches, we're toast!" Grim said
"Let's lure him as far from the cave as we can." I said
Me and Grim began to run from the monster as it began to give chase to us in hopes of driving us away from the magestone. I smirked as the monster didn't realize what our plan was and was falling for our trick. Now that the first part of the plan was completed, it was now time for the second and third part of the plan. I saw that we were getting close to were Ace was hiding as we passed by the cavern wall. I saw that the monster was getting close as I got ready to let Ace now that it was time.
"Begooone! BEGOOOOOOONE!" The monster yelled
"We got him a good distance away from the mine!" Grim said
"Now's our chance!" I shouted as Ace got out of hiding from one of the cavern's walls
"You bet. I got this! One extra-large gust of wind, comin' up!" Ace said as he launched a gust of wind magic at the monster
"With a side of Grim's blazin'-hot fire! MYAAAH!" Grim shouts as he sends a wave of fire at the monster
The monster was hit by the combine attack from the duo as we began to back up, it seems the attack did damage to it. It wasn't enough but it did cause it to cry out in pain and shock from the attack. It worked better than I had thought it would which was a good thing since I didn't want it to fail. It seems that it doesn't like fire all too much as I watch it try to put the fire out from it's body. The two cheered when the monster was too distracted by the attack as I see Deuce peeks from behind the wall, waiting for my call.
"Grrraaahhh?!" The monster cries out in shock
"How's that taste?! With my winds fanning them, even Grim's feeble flames can become an inferno!" Ace said with a smirk
"Whaddaya mean 'feeble'?! Ya really don't know how to shut yer mounth, do ya?" Grim said angrily
'Now's not the time to argue!' I thought to myself
"Now's our chance!" I shouted as Deuce comes out of hiding.
"Just stay calm, aim carefully... and pull out the biggest, heaviest thing I can think of... Get ;em, cauldron!" Deuce said as he used his magic
A cauldron fell on top of the monster and just like with what happened with Ace, it trapped it under it. It began to try tp claw it's way out from under the cauldron but was failing due to the attack from earlier. We looked at it to make sure that it wasn't able to get out from under the cauldron. Once that was out of the way, we look at each other with smiles on our faces from the success of the plan.
"Gwaaah?!" The monster cried from shock
"Nailed it! The plan's workin'! Look, Ciel! That monster got smashed flat by a falling cauldron, just like Ace did!" Grim said
"Coulda done without the reminder, thanks! This has been one drag after another." Ace groans
"Quick! While it's distracted, we need to get that magestone!" Deuce stated
"Let's move!" I said
"Guh?! Waaait! Nooooooo!" The monster cried out
We ignored it and made our way passed it to go further into the caverns as it continues to cry out and tries to get free. We walk through the caverns as we saw the sparkles again like we did earlier. We followed the sparkles since they were produced by the magestone so if we hope to find the stone, the sparkles' are our best chance. After following the sparkles, it led us to a wall with something glowing. I took a closer look to see that it was a sparkling crystal stone that had a rainbow like colors with only some colors missing.
"That's it! That's a magestone!" Deuce said as I quickly started using the pickaxe to loosen it
'It's... Pretty...' I said as I looked at the stone before me. it was very colorful, it wasn't like anything I have ever seen.
"Dooon't tooouch thaaaaat!" The monster yelled
We looked to see that the monster had almost freed itself from under the Deuce's cauldron that he had summoned. Considering how much time it will take to get the magestone out from the wall, I won't have enough time. I need the others to give me enough time to get this cauldron out. Or else, we are done for since I'm pretty sure that the monster is very pissed off with us for what we did. After all, we are trying to take something that it claimed as it's property but it's something we need.
"Uh-oh! Looks like it's nearly wriggled free!" Ace shouts
"Guys, I almost got it! I just need more time!" I shouted
"Hey, Deuce! You gotta add more weight!" Grim cried out
"Y-you mean something heavier? Uh... I summon thee, cauldron! And also, uh... Um... Another cauldron! And a cauldron on top of that! All the cauldrons!" Deuce said
More cauldrons were summoned and landed on top of the monster, causing it to be trapped once more. But this time, it will have a harder time on getting out from under the cauldrons unlike the first one. Which was good for me as it gave me enough time to get it out as the others kept guard.
"Nnngaaaah!" The monster cried out
"Is that the only thing you know how to summon?!" Ace questioned Deuce
"Pipe down already! I'm worked up enough as it is!" Deuce cried out
"Got it!" I said as I was holding the magestone in my hands as I dropped the pickaxe on to the ground.
"We got the magestone! Now let's get outta here!" Grim shouts
"Roger that!" Ace said
We all began to run out of the mines as the monster cries out, but we ignored it as we need to get the magestone to Crowley as quickly as possible. After all, we don't have enough time left before morning comes. I looked back to see that the monster was still trapped under the cauldrons as it was trying to get free.
"MYYY STOOOOOOONE!" The monster cries out
'We got the magestone, but we're not out of the waters just yet.'
