Shayne

Chapter 1

(Shayne's Pov)

My name is Shayne, I am 16 years old and I am in year 10 of high school, oh and I'm gay. I live with my mum and my brother Oli who is 18 and in his last year of school. We live in a nice 2 story house which is quite spacious and the rooms are pretty big so there was no fighting for the bedrooms if you know what I mean.  Me and my brother have a very special bond and we have each others backs a lot, we do bicker a lot to though and compete at everything. 

I haven't got many friend but a couple of good people I hang with although I attract a lot of attention from girls swooning over me and guys wanting to be me. My best friend from when we was in nappies is Tom we get on like a house on fire and we never argue and then there is Charlie you would think we was sisters we bicker a lot but its all good fun we met in year 7 and have been best of friends ever since. 

Then there is Amber the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on, she has long wavy blonde hair and a stunning pair of bright blue eyes like the sky. She moved in next door when we was 14 and we clicked instantly after my mom forced me to go help her and her family move in, we have been joined at the hip ever since and she just slotted in with me and my friends. 

Me and my brother both have a thing for her ever since we saw the moving truck pull up out side their house, but I got in there first obviously not that she knows that I secretly want her but I do flirt with her a lot and she does it to which I am happy about, maybe one day I will tell her.

My bedroom door fly's open knocking me out of my thought's "Shayne you up?" Oli said from the door way.

"Yeah bro just about to get ready for school" I huffed as I spoke, "good hurry up ill drop you off on my way" he said. I nodded at him, my brother doesn't go to the same public school as me he goes to a private school 10 minutes away from mine because he thinks he is better than everyone else and that he is gods gift to women. 

I get up off my bed and make my way to my bathroom that's attached to my room which I am grateful for so I don't have to share with my mum or my brother. I got to the toilet then wash my and and face, I pick up my tooth brush and do my teeth as well. Once I have finished with all of that I go back in to my room to my dresser and pull out some black skinnies and a white fitted t-shirt, I put them on and slip on my dc high tops, I walk back in to my bathroom and grab my hair gel and style my hair in to a faux hawk just how I like it. I walk back in to my room and look at myself in the long body mirror checking myself out and I look on point, I hear a car horn honk so I grab my phone and wallet and run down the stairs and out to my brothers car and jump in.

"God you take so long" he breathed out, "hey it takes perfection to look this good" I said pointing to myself, he just looks at me and shakes his head.

We started the drive to school which is only 15 minutes down the road from our house, Oli pulls up at the side of the road to let me out "see ya later bro don't do anything I wouldn't" he said as I opened the door, "wouldn't dream off it" I said smirking as I got out and shut the door behind me. 

I started walking up to the front of the school and saw Tom, Charlie and Amber stood there waiting for me, "hey guys" I said as I approached them, they all nodded at me and we all went into the school to go to our first lesson. I have all my classes with at least one of them so I don't mind, what I do mind is math which I have first with Amber so that's a bonus for me. I grabbed Ambers hand in mine and started to drag us towards math and I saw a slight blush on her face which made me smirk to myself, I opened the door for and followed her to our seat and sat down. 

"I hate math" I said with a huff, "I know you do, it will be over before you know it" Amber said to me with a smile, I rolled my eyes at her and put my head down on the desk. It did go very quickly and before I knew it, it was lunch time and me and Amber was walking to the cafeteria. We entered the cafeteria and went to the lunch line to get our food, I paid for our lunch and we made our was over to our table where Tom and Charlie were already sat.

"Hey guys what are you two up to this weekend?" Charlie said.

"I have no plans" Amber replied, I just shrugged while shoving my sandwich in my mouth.

"You staying over tonight?" I asked Amber with a smirk.

"Yeah sure as long as you keep a leash on your brother" she said laughing.

"I will lock him out and make sure he doesn't bother you" I said laughing to.

"what have you guys got planned" I said to Tom and Charlie.

"I'm helping my mum at the bakery all weekend" Charlie said with a sigh.

"I'm going to my dads" Tom said. his parents are separated so he has to alternate weekends and school holidays with them. 

The bell rung to signal the end of lunch and we only had 2 periods left to go before we can go home and start the weekend. The end of the day came quickly and I waited for Amber by the entrance to walk home, while I was waiting I had a flock of girls come up to me giggling and blushing. "hey Shayne" one said "show us your abs Shayne" another said I rolled my eyes this always happens. Amber approached us and grabbed my hand to pull me away with a blank expression. "sorry girls we gotta go" she said, I laughed as I was being pulled.

"Thanks you saved me from the leaches" I said.

"What are best friends for? I don't get why you always get so much attention all the time its annoying" she said with a huff.

I looked at her gob smacked "its because I'm hot just look at me" I said wiggling my eye brows at her.

"Oh shush you your so vein" she said laughing. 

"Well you didn't deny that I am not so I will take that" I said, she just looked at me and shoved me in the arm. We was at the bottom of my drive now "I'm going to go get ready and I will be round after dinner" Amber said, "sure ill get everything ready and its my turn to pick the movie" I said "oh god make sure its a good one" she said with a nervous laugh. We parted our ways and I headed to my front door, I watched her walk up her drive and into her house before I went in.
