Chapter 11

I was rudely awoken by Drew running in to my room and jumping on top of me, "ooof what the fuck Drew?" I asked keeping my eyes closed. 

"Come on man wake up it's the holidays" she said smiling from ear to ear.

"Exactly its the holidays which means sleep till way in to the middle of the day" I huffed out as she climbed off me and went to stand in front of my bedroom window. 

"Oh stop being lazy, hey have you noticed the house over the road went up for sale about a week ago?" she said out of nowhere.

I sighed no I hadn't noticed how could I not "oh god I hope I don't end up with another you" I joked laughing a little.

Drew turned to pout at me "hey I am the best thing that happened to you, you would be lost with out me bro" she said smirking .

I couldn't help but laugh at her and I jumped out of bed to go see which house it was that has gone up for sale, it was owned by an elderly couple. I strolled in to my bathroom to freshen up when I came back out Drew was sat on my face scoffing a packet of crisps, I chuckled at her "dude you are always eating" I said walking over to my closet to put on some clean shorts and vest top. 

"Girls gotta eat bro" she shot back at me.

I just laughed at her and sat down to put my trainers on "come on dude lets go for a run gotta keep you in shape with all this shit you keep eating." 

"Hey I am just as fit as you check these abs out" she said lifting her shirt and pointing to her toned stomach. I laughed at her and we both walked out of my room and headed downstairs, I opened the front door and off we went. 

As we was coming back down our street a moving truck come flying past us and pulled up at the house over the road, we got to my front door "that was quick" Drew said pointing to the house where the moving truck had stopped. 

I looked to where she was pointing "yeah I know this street is popular the houses always sell quick" I said opening my front door. 

"Girls is that you?" my mum spoke from the kitchen, I swear that woman lives in there. 

"Yeah its us mum" I said as we walked towards the kitchen. As we walked in I saw my mum putting down 2 plates and scooping some pasta on to them. "Made you 2 some lunch you must be starved after that run" she said.

We walked towards the island and took a seat "thanks mum" I said "yeah thanks ma" Drew followed after me. We both scoffed down the pasta and then placed our plates in the sink.

I turned to my mum "hey that house over the road has been sold me and Drew just seen the moving truck" I pointed out. Drew smacked my shoulder "going to shower dude" she said as she headed for my bathroom in my room. 

"you know you have your own house with a shower in right?" I questioned, she turned to me walking backwards "yeah but we share stuff anyway so what's the point in making the trek next door" she smirked running off. I shook my head and turned back to my mum.

"Oh really the houses round here do sell quick" my mum said not to surprised "you looking forward to going down to the lake?" she added.

"Yeah I cant wait to just get away and relax for a bit, its been a tough year" I said smiling at her.

I headed up to my room and found Drew in a pair of my joggers and a plain black t-shirt sprawled out on my bed taking a nap. I shook my head at the sight and went for a shower myself, once I was done I threw on some joggers and a t-shirt and headed back in to my room.

"WAKEY WAKEY" I said as I jumped up and down on the bed laughing. Drew jumped in shock "what the fuck man don't do that" she said scrambling to sit up.

"Haha shouldn't have fallen asleep then loser" I said still trying to control my laughter.

I fell down on the bed to sit next to Drew, "well I should be off, oh dad wanted to know if you wanted to come round for dinner tomorrow?" Drew said as she was getting up off the bed

"Sure tell pops I'll be there" I replied with a smile.

"Awesome dude I'll catch you tomorrow" she said.

"Laters bro" I responded as I scrolled through Netflix to put a film on before bed. Drew left and I settled in to my movie as I got in to bed. I ended up falling asleep half way through the movie and before I knew it, it was morning.
