Shayne

Chapter 2

I was in my room getting everything ready for our movie night, I had brought drinks up and put in my mini fridge, I also got some snacks chocolate, crisps and some ready made popcorn. 

"Shayne what are you doing" Oli said out of nowhere making me jump.

"Dude you scared the shit out of me, don't do that and for your information Amber is coming  over" I said putting my hand over my chest. 

"Oh yeah she can come stay in my room I'm sure she would have much more fun with me" he said smirking at me.

"HA in your dreams buddy she's mine" I said sternly even though she's not. 

"Is that so, we will see" he said walking out of my room. God he is so annoying we always end up going after the same girls but I always win I am just better looking and have gift of the gab. I finished sorting my room out and made sure everything looked clean and tidy she should be here soon and if on que the doorbell rings. 

I heard my mom go to the front door and open it, I heard some muffled sound then foot steps on the stairs. "hey Shayne" Amber says as she walks in and plops down on my bed.

I smile at her and how predictable she is that's the first thing she does when she comes in to my room. "Hey you, where's your stuff?" I said noticing she didn't have a bag with her. 

"Oh shit I forgot to bring my pjs with me again, can I borrow something of yours?" she groaned at me

I raised my eyebrow at her with a smirk "you just secretly love wearing my clothes don't you" she looked at me blushing, before she could answer my brother came running in to the room and jumped on my bed next to Amber.

"What's up sexy wanna come hang with me?" he said to her while putting his hand on her waist, I frowned feeling possessive. She slapped his hand off of her "umm no thanks id much rather stay here with Shayne" she said rolling her eyes. I couldn't help but smile at watching her do that, that's my girl I thought. 

"Oli come on out" I said walking over to him to drag him towards the door, he stopped in the doorway, "come find me when you get bored of this loser" he said to Amber then I pushed him out and slammed the door locking it so he couldn't get back in. 

I sighed and walked over to my dresser to grab Amber a pair of short a a baggy t-shirt to sleep in. "sorry about him, I have locked it so he cant come back in" I said throwing the clothes at her. 

"Its ok I just wish he wouldn't hit on my all the time, I thought he would of got the hint that I am not interested in him what so ever by now" she said grabbing the clothes and heading to my bathroom. While she was getting changed I also quickly go changed in to a pair of shorts and I was just about to put my t-shirt on when she came back out, I saw here standing there like a deer caught in headlights staring at my abs as her face turned as red as a tomato, I was smirking at here "like what you see" I said raising one eyebrow "s..sorry" she said shaking her head.

I put my top on and then went and sat on my bed and turned the tv on to play the movie I had chosen and Amber cam and sat next to me. "Can we lie down to watch the movie?" she asked, "sure" I moved over and we both lied down and I pressed play.

"What are we watching anyway?" she said.

I smirked "insidious"

"Shayne why do you always have to pick scary movies" she whined at me.

"I don't and I like seeing you reactions. you can always cuddle me if you get scared" I said smirking.

She huffed and we started watching the film its really not that scary she is just being soft. Every time something happened she would jump and grab my t-shirt, I didn't really pay much attention to the movie due to her jumping all the time and that was more fun to watch. The tv went quiet as a jump scene was coming up on the film that you wouldn't expect if you haven't seen it before and the sound got really loud and people was screaming, Amber jumped and hid in my neck tightening her grip on my top.  

I chuckled and rubbed my hand over the back of her head "hey its ok its over now" she looked up at me and stared straight in to my eyes ignoring the film, I stared back getting lost in her blue while I moved my hand to her cheek stroking it with my thumb we was so closed to each other I could feel her breath on me. I took this as my chance that I have been waiting for, I ducked my head down and connected our lips feeling how soft she was and to my shock she kissed me back, we was moving in sync with each other like we was meant to be. 

We pulled apart to catch our breath "I'm sorry" I whispered she moved her hand to grab mine still looking in my eyes "don't be I liked it" she whispered back, I smiled with happiness she likes me back. 

The film had finished while we was caught up in our moment "lets go to sleep" I said turning the tv off and laying down on my back, she lied down as well and snuggled up to me putting her head in the crook of my neck and her arm over my stomach. I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight, I kissed the top of her head "goodnight Amber" I said "night Shay" she replied falling to sleep.
