Chapter XII - Glory

A/N: Hey guys!! Umm, this is the last chapter... I know, there isn't any violence, no one tried to murder Glory or tried to disturb Glory and Deathbringer's relationships, but I planned for this book to be healing and, Glory and Deathbringer had already gone through a lot, I wanted my favorite characters to be happy after all the hard events like ending the war, Darkstalker's awakening and the whole Breath of Evil incident. So.. yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed the book and filled your heart with peace and love ^^

Glory and Deathbringer twined their tails and clasped their talons together as the egg started twitching slightly. "It's coming out Glory!! Our little dragonet is coming out!!" Deathbringer said with a little higher voice than his usual voice. Glory smiled and touched the egg lightly. "I hope it's healthy.." she said. "It will be happy, it will have the best life, it wouldn't see any blood, or war or anything... unpleasent." Darkstalker said. Glory let out a laugh. "Well.... I hope it will never experience war or blood shed.." Glory said looking at her egg. After a few months of carrying the egg in her belly and a few months of waiting and staring at the egg every night, it was finally hatching. 

CRACK. Star shaped cracks appeared along the shimmering purple-black egg. CRACK. CRACK. CRACK. Few more appeared and the egg's top was now broken into peices, and a small head poked out of it. Glory smiled as she saw the little dragonet. "It's a princess... " Deathbringer said, smiling at Glory. "She is our future queen." he said nudging Glory with his elbow. Glory nudged him back smiling. "I don't care if our dragonet was male or female, I'll love them either way." she said reaching out and stroaking the dragonet, her dragonet's head as she said. "Arrrrrrrrrg?" Deathbringer chuckled. "What should we name her?" he asked. Glory thought for a moment, gazing at the Rainforest. "I... I think, we should name her Stargazer." she said. "That, is a beautiful name." Deathbringer said, looking lovingly at Glory and Stargazer.

"Stargazer, our little dragonet." Glory whispered.
