Chapter II - Deathbringer

Deathbringer saw Glory's ruff and wingtips turning light pink. He couldn't help but feeling a tinge of triumph. He had made Glory blush. Does that means Glory have feelings for him like he have feelings for Glory? Did she know, that Deathbringer thought of her for every second of his day? Her beautiful green eyes, her cute scowl and her elegant sleek body. Deathbringer let out a dreamy sigh. 

When he arrived at the patrol station, he straightened up his face as he faced the guards. "Patrols, there was recently some problem with the Mudwings, we better keep an eye on them so they wouldn't hunt anymore sloths." he said. the Nightwing patrols nodded and went out. Deathbringer nodded, and returned to the platform.

Glory was sitting on her throne(it looked more like a chair actually, Deathbringer wished that Glory had made her thron more higher and more powerful looking, since there was some Nighwings that doubted her ruling) flickering her tail in a way that made his heart go crazy. 

"Ahem." he said. Glory looked startled. She never looked startled, she hardly gets surprised. 'Well, that's weird.' he thought to himself. "I have finished telling the patrols about the Mudwings." he said. Glory shot him a look of amusement. "You mean lecturing them?" she asked and imitated his voice. "We must look for other Mudwings, do your best, we must protect queen Glory." boy, she was good at imitating his voice. Deathbrniger let out a chuckle. "Should I lecture you? I have a lot to say." he said. 'Like I love you Glory, with all my heart, and I'll die for you 1000times and more.' he thought. Glory shook her head. "Nah, I don't hearing your lectures, nobody likes your lectures Deathbringer." she said. His name, it was just his name, but in Glory's mouth, it sounded like magic. It made him feel like he was worth something. "Well, I can see that you looooove my lectures Glory." he said teasingly. Glory rolled her eyes and came down from her throne. "There is a queen meeting this afternoon. Come on." she said. Deathbringer nodded and followed Glory to the meeting place; Queen Thorne's Sandwing palace.
