Everything changed between us, I shout alone, blue
Pale blue tears well in my eyes because of you, blue
Spring, summer, fall, winter, always the same feeling, blue

I want to go back to the time when I didn't know anything, blue
Blue side, blue side
Back to blue side, blue side

Sempiternal: Broken

"Do you believe... Do you think they're telling the truth?"

"No. Of course not. How can it be the truth?"

"They seem pretty sincere about it. They might be. We haven't known anything for a while. It's just sounded the same-"

"It's not true. It's just not true. Maybe only a few people died. They said they'd take over the base! It's obvious someone would die, that's all!"

Jin pats Jungkook's shoulder, whispering in his ear to calm down. He's very sensitive and almost overreacting when it comes to any slightest sign that implies something wrong where Jimin is. Namjoon taps his chin and looks back to where the couple they saved earlier is.

They were in horrible trouble with a herd, to the point where those who accompanied them, died and they are the only survivors of it. He bites his cheeks and furrows his brows Should they believe them? It may be a misunderstanding, apparently even without social networks or a proper signal, news spreads. There is always room for misfortune.

They mentioned it as very obvious, common knowledge. With how isolated they are from everything, having barely come across debris and little else, it could be very true and they are not even aware of it. It could explain why, even though they are getting closer, they have not heard any transmissions. It has been weeks since the announced takeover of Leeseung.

"True or not we will go there to make sure. If we already went to one destroyed camp, we'll go to another one" Namjoon irritably replies to his own mental laps. He stresses out for the sake of it and starts to be obnoxious.

"It's not going to be destroyed. It's going to be fine" states Jungkook foolishly. "They must have mistaken it for somewhere else.

"There are many more bases. Remember the huge list we had from the box that fell from the sky" comments Yoongi. "So if it can be. I don't think there's any way to get real, reliable information now. If it was complicated before, it's worse now."

"He's right about that." Supports Hoseok.

"Let's just continue." prompts Taehyung impatiently.

"It's already too late. We'll have to find a place to spend the night and continue tomorrow. Their camp is on our way. We'll drop them nearby and be done." Jungkook and Taehyung are not convinced of the route Namjoon chose, but they are not going to contradict him either.

It is certainly starting to get dark. Even though there is no cloud bombing as Jimin told them it was done, it is already starting to enter the months where it is winter by nature. If they don't force it any further, there will be a spring again at some point. The only thing that is clear, is that they lived through a horrible winter year. Where the days are shorter and the nights are long. Dangerous for the journey they want to maintain.

"Do you happen to know a place to hide during the night?" asks Namjoon approaching the couple. The woman nods, getting up from where she is.

"We can go to the hideout where we rested last night before we came." she proposes and Namjoon nods. That's good enough for her. They're not going to risk being in a bad place. Not after the mess they went through.
