METAL SONICS REDEMPTION

chapter 2 (WELCOME TO STUDIOPOLIS! pt1 repairs)

Metal sonic using the broken crutch as a cane has been walking for nearly three hours to studiopolis in hopes to fully repair himself and plan on from there

*metal sonic* ive been walking for miles there has to be a rest point or something

As he walked down the road he begun to have flashbacks to how he got here

(Stardust speedway 24 years ago)

On a lit up runway metal sonic chased sonic at full speed with eggman hot on their trail in his ship firing a laser destroying the ground below them

*Sonic* you even trying to catch me ya bucket of bolts?

*Metal sonic* your ego is starting to anger me hedgehog

*robotnik* CMON METAL I BUILT YOU FOR THIS!

metal sonic kicked his jet into full power and passed for a while he felt he accomplished his mission until the finish

Right at the finish line sonic zipped passed him and as he ran across the finish an iron door shut separating them

Metal sonic looked back to see eggman was still moving forward with the laser blasting metal sonic down into the abyss with no remorse

As metal sonic snapped out of his flashback he noticed he stopped in front of a small building that was designed as a pub or bar for robots that offers oil upgrades modifications and repairs

*metal sonic* guess this will have to do i just hope no one recognizes me

As he walked in he saw a bunch of other bots and droids sitting at tables and at the counter
He got some stares but thankfully no one recognized him and he could carry on with his business

Metal sonic proceeds to sit at one of the empty barstools and waits for the bartender
...

After a minute the bartender droid moved to him

*bartender* what may I do for you sir?

*metal sonic* I'll take a round of oil and I'd like to make an appointment for repairs upgrades and a repaint

*bartender* thats gonna cost you a bit

metal sonic thought for a bit and decided the best thing to do

*metal sonic* charge the bill to Dr ivo robotnik he can handle it

*Bartender* you mean Dr eggman?

*metal sonic* he changed his name?

*Bartender* yep he's had it like that for a few years now

*metal sonic* well just put the bill on him

*bartender* you got it!

After a little time passed the bartender came back with an oil canister and places it in front of metal
*metal sonic* thanks

Metal starts drinking and thinking what to do next
He then looked at someone's newspaper at a certain newspaper clipping

(BREAKING NEWS EGGMAN ONCE AGAIN DEFEATED AND THE MASTER EMERALD HAS BEEN RETURNED TO ANGEL ISLAND ALL THANKS TO SONIC TAILS AND KNUCKLES)

*metal sonic* so they're still a thing

Metal proceeds to take another sip of oil when he was called up for his upgrades

As metal sonic walked up to upgrade station he thought on his new look

*Metal sonic* should i stay how i am? Or do I repaint myself?

metal sonic then walked into the upgrade station and sat on the bench and looked at some color pallets
Nothing caught his eye except one with a slightly lighter main blue and mainly yellow and red second colors

An upgrade bot walks in and starts listing the info metal sonic provided

*upgrade bot* so name is unlisted manufacturer is listed as unknown... and heres the upgrades you requested A new nitrous jet engine in your chest a new left leg a modified voice modual a set of blue optics and a new paint job is that correct?

*metal sonic* yes thats all correct

*upgrade bot* and everything's been pre paid for so we can get started
So im going to have you lay on your back

*metal sonic* lays down and the upgrade bot plugs a cord in his head

*upgrade bot* okay im now putting you in rest mode you won't feel a thing

Metal sonic nods and then 10 seconds later he enters rest mode

As the hours went by metal sonic had multiple visions
The first one being him as a winged metal beast acending from eggmans battle fleet
Another is of him being made of full grey iron and having some flame module instead of a chest jet
And the last one before waking up was him awaking after eggman had finished creating him with sonics DNA.

And then finally he woke up

*upgrade bot* welcome back sir your operation was a success!

*metal sonic* really?

*upgrade bot* take a look for yourself! *he said gesturing to a mirror

Metal sonic walks to the mirror and was astonished by how he looked

*Upgrade bot* that old jet engine was completely outdated so I gave you something with some more muscle and kick and you have a more smoother voice modual and a reinforced optic lense and two upgraded legs

Metal sonic walked away from the mirror and shakes the other bots hand

*metal sonic* thank you very much

*upgrade bot* it was my pleasure working on one of eggmans old bots

*metal sonic* how did you know..?

*Upgrade bot* you're design is unmistakable and don't worry i won't tell soul

Metal sonic nods at him and walks out of the building

*metal sonic* time to fire up this new engine
He then activated it and and it let out a loud roar like a tuned up muscle car and he took of at lightning speed

*metal sonic* next stop studiopolis
