this is a sonic what if story that takes place after a recent defeat in stardust speedway metal sonic decided after that to repair himself and rebel against eggman and becomes a hero in stardust speedway studiopolis and more places to come

*sindri* MODIFICATIONS ARE DONE TO THE JETS AND WITH THREE HOURS TO SPARE!!
Multiple soldiers and everyone else got into the jets and the hanger doors opened
*metal sonic* TAKE OFF
All the jets then blasted off
One hour later
*tails* its gonna take us three hours to get to the flying battery
*metal sonic* we need to kick it up a notch and get there faster!
*sonic* I agree mecha might try and kill them right after take off
*mage* THEN PICK UP THE PACE
All jets then shot a blue flame out of the turbine and they all took off at blinding speeds and slowed back down moments later
*metal sonic* hopefully bolt head and brok can get out quicker and save us some trouble
*sindri* trust me I've seen bolt head fight in that arena so he can handle himself and If I know my brother he'll think of a way out before they take off
*sonic* thats good to hear but we still have to get the ship out of the air
*metal sonic* once we get bolt head out him mage and me can destroy its power source
*miles* okay approaching the flying battery... NOW!!
They then approached the ship only to see it wasn't there they all looked up to see it had already taken off

*metal sonic* shit they took off early!!
*mage* we gotta catch up!
They then shot upward in hot pursuit of the ship and without warning some sort of lasers where being fired at them
*eggman* SHIT SPREAD OUT!!
They all then spread out dodging the lasers and managed to almost get close enough until a reinforced thruster formed on the back of the ship znd started glowing
*metal sonic* PULL UP!!!
They all then started pulling up straight just as the thruster fired off barely missing them... exept
*miles* GUYS IM HIT!!
*eggman* HOLD ON I GOT YOU!
A grappling hook then shot from the bottom of his jet and caught miles jet
*miles* thanks... shit my engines are offline!
*eggman* its okay i can tow you!
They then kept flying up still dodging laser blasts and finally landed on top of the ship
They all then exited their jets and began discussing the plan
*metal sonic* okay eggman sonic and tails you guys take care of all defenses and droids!
