Brielle's POV

Jessica, Mark, and I walked off to gym class. "I'm glad she agreed to 'The Look' because I really think we could do something here." Jessica excitedly tugged on my arm. I just giggled because at this moment I saw her as a child. "I've never had a girlfriend- I mean like-" Mark was about to add something before stammering " Didn't know I was your girlfriend, I mean like we only just met yesterday," I smirked knowing that was making him shy.

"I didn't mean it like that... I just meant like a girl that's a friend." He seemed so unsure about his response, so I pressed a little further. "Do you, see me as your... girlfriend?" I leaned up again the wall right outside of the gym. Jessica was having a hard time keeping her laughter in that she just walked away. "I mean-"

"You say 'I mean,' so much it makes me wonder if you're thinking of what to say, or if you're unsure of your answer." "Well, you are very beautiful" he complimented, putting emphasis on 'very'. I was having fun seeing him act nervous. "Do you see yourself as my boyfriend?" I stepped closer and batted my eyes up at him. He was very tall. At that moment he cleared his throat, and he started stuttering so bad, that I didn't know what he was saying. I just kept coming closer to him until our bodies were basically touching. He kept talking nervously and backing up until he hit the wall. "Wow, it's hot in here" was the only thing I was able to make out. I stood on my tippy toes like I was going in for a kiss when the bell rang and I just walked away. Smiling to myself cause I know what I had just done to him. I'll apologize later, I made a quick reminder to myself as I strut into the locker room to change.

As soon as Jessicas' eyes landed on me, she started laughing. "Girl that was so epic, I can't believe you just did that too 'Thee Mark' he isn't nervous with anyone." "Oh well, little old me has charm, that'll soften anyone who thinks their hard." I flipped my hair before laughing. Jessica shook her head as we finished getting dressed for class.

The whole class time I found Mark not focused on his activities, he kept staring at me, blushing. I giggled to myself. I'll apologize after school, I want him thinking about me all day," I decided to myself.

After the gym, I went to English. I sat in the back of the class. I got on my phone until the bell rang, I looked up and Edward and Bella were coming in, Edward looked directly at me as he started coming towards me. I can't lie I was a little nervous, but I would never say that out loud.

"Is this seat taken?" Edward asked shocking the hell out of me. "Uhh... no" He sat down and started copying the work on the board. I don't understand him, one minute he's looking at me like he wants to kill me, and now he wants to be buddies. I couldn't help it, I was staring at him, but for some reason, I think he knew that already, even though he was still writing the instructions down.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel like I didn't like you, I'm not used to new people coming here..." he mumbled. He wasn't even looking at me. He was still writing away.

"How nice of you," I replied quietly. I couldn't help but wonder if Bella had something to do with him being so polite now. I looked in her direction and she was watching us, hurt... was her expression I guess. As soon as she noticed me, she looked away. Why weren't they sitting together? Why did he want to sit with me?

The majority of the class was silent between us. He seemed less tense though. I wondered what everyone was scared of him for. He's not scary at all... a little awkward, but it's kinda cute. I finished my work and was satisfied with the timing. When I looked up though, Edward was staring at me.

"Your hair looks interesting," He sort of compliments. "Um... is that a compliment?" I asked, unsure of what he was implying. "If you want it to be" He added while deepening his glare. I swear I saw his eyes were just brown. I leaned in, I was in a trance. I couldn't for the life of me remember his eyes being black. He blinked and scooted his chair away. Oh no, I probably weirded him out...

"I'm so sorry, I could've sworn your eyes were always brown."

"What color are they now?" he asked, intrigued. ",,, Black?" I was so unsure of myself, as just a minute ago they were black and now they are brown again...

It went silent again. I was deep in thought. I don't wanna walk home... I don't want to ride with the girls either. I'm pretty sure Marianne is riding home with Jacob. I'll call Granny Elaine after class and ask her to pick me up.

The class was coming to an end and I didn't want to go to my next class, but I encouraged myself to not skip.

"I know that I splashed you and your friend that day, I apologized to her but I'm sorry, if you'd like I could give you a ride home today..."

"Can I think about it?" I asked, knowing that I just wanted to get Marianne's opinion.

He nods. "You can find me in the parking lot if you want the ride." I nod with a smile. "Thank you" He got up right before the bell rang. Bella got up right behind him. Weird.

At the end of the day, I walked out with Jessica and Angela.

"So you guys... I think Bella and Edward are in a fight. Edward walked in with Bella but he came to sit next to me in the Fifth hour."

They both gasped. "We have to talk to her then," they said to each other.

As we walked out, Mark walked up to me. "Hey, can we talk?" He asked as the girls looked at me, they giggled as they walked away. "So what's up?" I asked looking around for Edward or Marianne. I spotted Edward watching us talk, I could've sworn I saw him roll his eyes.

"Let me take you out. Our encounters can't only be at school." His boyish smirk was adorable. I agreed and gave him my number and address. "Okay, I'll pick you up in an hour and a half." He looked me up and down as I smiled. "See you later"

After he left I remembered I forgot to call granny Elaine. I pulled out my phone as a car pulled up to me.

"Girl, get in," Jessica said. I looked at Edward and he just nodded. I waved bye as he got in his car.

"Want to tell me what the hell happened?" Jessica questioned excitedly.

I went on to tell her about my date as she drove me home. When we pulled up to my house I got out.

"Bye~"

"Bye twinnie~" I closed the door and saw Marianne and Jacob talking. Marianne looked toward Jessica's car "And bye Marianne" Jessica said waving out the car window. "Bye Jess," Marianne said waving back.

"Hey Jake" He looked at me and smiled. "Hey, Bri" I looked at Marianne and then at Jake. "I'll give you two some space," I said before walking away. As I went into the house, I saw Granny Elaine looking out the window at Mari and Jake. "Granny~" I teased her about eavesdropping. "You know you want to, too." I giggled and went over to the window to watch the scene.
