Marianne woke up to see a sleeping Brielle next to her. Her head was hurting but that didn't matter once she remembered her night. She finally felt anger, specifically towards Jacob. It doesn't matter how mad he gets, he had no right to put his hands on her. She knew it would only be a matter of time before he called to apologize, but she had no intentions of forgiving him like last time.

Brielle rolled over and fell off the bed. "Ow~" Brielle sat up holding her head. Marianne laughed. "Are you okay?" "No~ that shit hurt" They were both laughing now.

Brielle gathered her things and went to her room. She got grey sweats and a cropped tank top out. She went to the bathroom to go take her shower. She must've been in there for a long time because when she went to Marianne's room after the shower, Marianne was asleep again. She sat on the bed and got on her phone. Not long after Marianne shifted in her sleep putting her arm in Brielle's view. Brielle looked down at her arm noticing a purplish mark on Marianne. She looked at it for a second before realizing that it was a bruise.

"Marianne," She shook her "Marianne wake up." Marianne groaned and opened her eyes "What-", "What the hell happened to your arm?" She asked the still half-asleep Marianne. "Oh... I fell onto a table last night." Marianne lied with almost no hesitation. Brielle nodded "It just looks like it hurt." She said and laid back.

Elaine came into the room "It's time to get up lazy butts," She said pulling the cover off the girls "I need help with the diner today." The girls groaned but agreed to help. Elaine gave them their diner uniforms before leaving the room. Brielle went to her room to change while Marianne went to the bathroom to get ready. Once the girls were done getting ready they went to Elaine "Oh don't you two just look adorable~" She got her phone out and "Say cheese~" Both of the girls smiled at the camera "Cheese~"

As they got out of the car, the girls looked at the small diner. "Well, let's get started," Elaine told the girls as she unlocked the door for them to go into. They went in and looked around. "Okay, to start I need both of you on restock, and then when we open the two of you take turns waiting tables and dishes," Elaine ordered as she got her apron on to go to the back. The girls looked at each other and then sighed before heading to the back to stock. Brielle put all the ketchup and mustard on the table and Marianne put the salt and pepper on the table.

After a while of setting up the tables, Marianne let the cook in "Good morning." The girls greeted the cook. "Good morning." He smiled at them before making his way into the kitchen. After a while the diner was open and the girls started waiting tables. Marianne took out her notepad and walked up to a table "Welcome to Laine's Way, what can I get for you?" She looked at the people sitting down. Bella was there with someone that Marianne assumed was her father. "I'll take a cup of coffee with pancakes and sausage." He said looking up at Marianne. She wrote the order down before looking at Bella "And what can I get for you?"

"Orange juice and waffles... bacon too," Bella responded not even looking at her. Marianne wrote her order down before smiling at Bella's father and walking away. "She seems nice." Marianne heard him say before she went behind the counter. She rang up their orders before hanging them up for the cook to see. The whole time Bella and her father was there she kept staring and Marianne.

Once Bella and her father left Marianne went to Brielle "I probably shouldn't have danced with her boyfriend." She said putting their plates in the kitchen sink. Brielle chuckled and nodded "Probably not~ but it's not like you had any moral obligation to her." Brielle said. "But I still shouldn't have danced with him," Marianne responded. Brielle shrugged "I think he doesn't even like her... I mean he's always staring at other girls."
