"Good morning to you too beautiful," Jake smiled at Marianne "You look great today." He said to her. Marianne laughed a little "Thank you... but I should've dressed for the weather." She said trying to joke with him. He took off his leather jacket and handed it to her "Wear this." He said before getting on his bike. "Okay..." Marianne put the jacket on and got onto his bike. The ride to school was quiet as usual but when they got there she noticed everyone staring again. "Oh god..." She got off the bike and looked down waiting for Jacob. He got off of the bike and looked at Edward, giving him a small smirk before wrapping his arm around Marianne and walking into the school.

"Oh my gosh did you just see that?" Jessica turned to Brielle and Angela "Marianne and Jacob... are they like an official thing now? She's wearing his jacket." Jessica asked Brielle. Brielle looked over at Marianne and Jacob seeing them go inside "I don't know..." The girls heard the first bell ring. "We should get going-" Jessica started before Mark cut her off "Bri" He jogged up to the girls. Brielle looked up at him and sighed "I'll see you guys later." Jessica nodded "Okay~" She said before walking away with Angela.
"What do you want Mark?" Brielle looked up at him annoyed. "To apologize... I didn't mean to act like that last night... it's just... I really like you and I don't want to... lose you," He started "I overreacted because I got jealous... I mean look at you... any boy would want you." He looked down scratching his head. She stayed quiet for a few seconds before nodding "I don't want to talk about this in school, we'll talk later." She walked away going into the school.

Marianne sat next to Bella and opened her Chromebook. "So you and Jacob are together?" Bella asked Marianne. She looked over to Bella and nodded "Yeah... I told you I didn't want Edward." Marianne gave her a small smile and then looked at her Chromebook. "Did he ever talk about me?" She asked Marianne. "Not really... you should probably... move on, I don't think he's as dedicated as you." Marianne responded to her trying to sound as nice as possible. "Oh..." Bella looked away "Okay..."
