Chapter 9.
Tobias needed to find out what the stranger- Felix meant by, 'You do realize guys can like other guys, right?'. Was he right? Ugh this all started because of David. Good thing it's Wednesday he thought to himself. Maybe he can properly apologise to Eric before the day ends. Although he could have been already expelled. Only time will tell.
He strapped on his leg brace and covered his wounds with some gauze/bandages. It looks like he got into a fight with a mountain lion.
Maybe that's a good thing, he can tell people he fought off a big cat, or a savage dog. Something less pathetic than what really happened.Tobias actually felt good today. He didn't feel as his insides were burning, or his knee being torn apart. Despite his injury, he was still walking to school.
Walking helped him relax. He felt as if he could just walk away from his problems. Maybe today things will turn for the better!'Ow! Watch where you're going!'
A tiny voice shouted from a lower height.
Tobais looked down to see a small blonde boy looking up at him.
Not again...'Maybe you should look down to make sure you don't step on people-'
'I'm sorry about everything! I promise I'll apologize to Eric and I will do anything, please just forgive me!'
He shouted.
David looked stunned, it seemed like he had never been asked for forgiveness. Possibly because he has never caused anyone any pain.
D.'Go fix this, tell the principal it wasn't Eric and you just got the name wrong, okay?'
T.'Okay.'
Before Tobias walked away he felt a tug on his sweater.
D.'Hey, I'm sorry for hitting you. I get really overprotective with my friends.'
The blonde said softly.
T.'It's okay. If I had any close friends I would be that way too.'
D.'You don't have any friends?'
T.'I do. It's just I'm not really close to them, and my girlfriend's friends aren't really people I'd want to be around.'
D.'You shouldn't let her choose your friends for you.'
T.'Well, she knows what's best so...'
D.'No she doesn't. You should be able to make your own friends and enemies without her saying anything.'
T.'But she's my girlfriend, I kinda have to.'
D.'Then break up with her.'
T.'What?'
D.'You heard me! Break up with her if she's treating you badly!'
T.'I can't just do that!'
D.'Why not? Do you still love her?'
T.'No-. I never did!'
D.'...'
D.'What do you mean? You've been dating her for like 3 years.'
T.'Two actually, and we just started to date one day.'
D.'So it's a one sided love thing?'
T.'I wouldn't say that. I'm not sure if she still likes me back.'
D.'So you started dating a girl you didn't even like?'
T.'I'm not even sure if I like girls at this point.'
