Dillon's POV
1st day of Pre-School
I walk into my mommy's bedroom with my purple dress and sparkly shoes on.
"Mommy look don't like look bootyful"
I say spinning around.
"Yes hun you look amazing, go get your bag so we can go to school!
At the school
Still Dillon's POV
"Hi you must be Dillon" my teacher says.
"Yeah" I giggle
"Well I'm Mrs. Ryan your teacher for this year!"
"Hi Mrs. Ryan" I say.
"Well, hun why don't you go sit next to Shawn over there."
She points to this little boy, who was sitting by his self.
"Hi I'm Dillon" I say to the little boy.
"Hi I'm Shawn"
"Why are you all by yourself?" I ask.
"Because no one wants to be my friend" he says quietly.
"I'll be you BEST friend Shawn"
He giggles with the widest smile on his face.
"Promise?" Shawn said.
"I promise."
20 years later
Shawn's POV
Today is the day. I'm marring my best friend. They open the doors and I see my beautiful wife to be Dillon. My eyes start to water as she walks down the isle.
"Who gives this woman to this young man" The Priest says.
"I do" Dillon's Dad say.
I take her hand and she walks up the steps. She looks so beautiful. I can't wait till I can finally call her Mrs. Mendes.
"Do you Shawn take Dillon Phipps to be your wife?"
"I do" I say smiling ear to ear.
"And do you Dillon take Shawn Mendes to be your husband?"
"I do" She says smiling not leaving eye contact with me.
"I know pronounce you man and wife, you may now kiss the bride" he says.
I grad her by her waist and pull her close.
"Your stuck with me forever now"
I say before leaning in and putting my lips to hers.
"I'm completely fine with that" she says when we pull apart.
"I now would like to produce to you
Mr. And Mrs. Shawn Mendes" I hear The Priest say.
I look over to my now wife and say
"You kept the promise"
"I would never trade that promise for the world" She says as we walk out of the church hand and hand.
