I preserve my detective beast
as I roam this glass neighborhood.
But all it took for me
was for your house of glass
to reflect my embarrassingly selfless self
for me to investigate.
Not one cushion was left unchecked,
not one doorknob left not examined.

not one room left not inspected.
At last, I concluded that
I was exaggerating,
unable to leave my detective beast
properly locked in his cage.
