Chapter 3

Rose pov:
Everyone was very friendly here. They made my mom and I feel like we belonged . Maddie and I have become the best of friends and also Jack. We play every day all day outside. This morning I sat at the table in pancakes and strawberries with Jack and Maddie. This guy walked in on his phone very tall. He had red hair short in length and buzzed on the side. He wore a leather jacket and blue jeans he also had blue eyes. The man was very sweet on the eyes people say in the south I guess.

Ace What's sup! Glad to have my beta back. They hugged. I often get confused by the terms that they use here like alpha and beta. Maddie's older brother gets called alpha too but I have no idea what that means nor beta.

"Glad to be back intense training. Is there someone new here I keep smelling this smell that is not normal."

"oh yeah Sarah's friend and her daughter rose. They are going to be staying here awhile. How bad was the training?"

"I slept for 3 days before I got here." Axe laughed. I heard my mom coming down the stairs before I saw her.

"Sarah where the hell did you put my suitcase" . She stopped mid track when she came in contact with Ace. They just started at each other for a few min.

"Whats happening" I whispered to Maddie

"I dont know she said back" Finally after what seemed like forever someone blinked and it was Ace. He held out his hand for my mom to shake.

"Hi I am Ace The beta"

"Frankie Sarah's friend" they shook hands for continue to stare for a few min again but this time Axe broke it up.

"okay weridos less staring more talking. Ace I need you to follow me to catch you up on some things. " He had to drag Ace away and when Ace was from the room my mom woke up from her trance.

"Weird. Hey Rose want to go to the garden." I nodded my head. I love the garden it had roses like my name and sunflowers and tulips. It also had a little pond in it so you can sit and watch the small fish and sometimes my mom would let me stick my feet in it.

"lets go sweetie of course Maddie you can come." The garden was my favorite place at this castle. I found it only the second day of being here and been in love ever since. The powers that my mom didn't want anyone to know about was earth. I could grow plants I could streach tree limbs could even move rocks, but I have only done that once and I was very angry or some strong emotion came along. My mom didn't want people to know because she said that someone would take her away from me which was something I never wanted. That night my mom tucked me into my bed I didnt think that it would twist into the worse night of my life.I slept in the room with Maddie at night until my mom came and got me but this night I thought I would sleep by myself. I was sleeping and the next thing I knew someone put their hand over my mouth and my eyes popped open.  It was my dad.

"shhhh don't say anything" I was 6 at the time and i didnt know what to do so I kept quiet.

"good." He grabbed me and we jumped out of the window myself. I know what you are thinking why didnt she use her powers to like hit her head or something, well like I said before I was only 7 and I barley knew about the extent of my powers let alone when and how to use them. My  mom tried to teach me but it didnt always go the way she planned and not to mention I was 6 I didn't know any better.When we landed on the ground my dad ran and got into this car that was pinch black and barely been seen to me anyways.  He threw me into the passenger seat and drove very fast. I just sat there I didn't know what to do, was I supposed to yell, was I supposed to cry. I didn't know I was so scared that I froze and did nothing.

"I told your mom if she ever left I would find you. She might would leave but you will not and I will promise that you are never going back." That's when I started to cry silently though. I would never see my mom again? This can not be true.  We drove for what felt like hours but it was only 2. When we got to the place he stopped it was an apartment building, it was very tall, and it was very nosiey around here and it smelled like dirt. I couldn't smell a tree within 20 miles and that sadded me. Dad got me out of the car and we went to a elevator and then to the room that was labeled 215. I didnt know this was the last time in 2 weeks I would step outside.

***********************************************************************************************We were sitting at the kitchen table, everything was exactly like I remember it, chair turned glass on the floor everything. Dad had sat me down with a bowl of mac and cheese in front of me the box kind which was something I didnt eat to much of. My dad was drinking like always and I learned to keep quiet when he does. I just hug my bear and wait for him to fall asleep or mom to come whichever came first but this time mom isnt here.

"Aren't you gonna eat Rosie" Dad said

"I'm not hungry. " I whispered.

"You should be hungry Rosie we have been driving for 2 hours did your mom not feed you?" I shook my head my mom always fed me.

"Then eat Rosie" I just hugged my bear tighter. Daddy slammed his fist on the table making me jump. He got up and walked around to the table staring at me. He was very scary and it was making me cry.

"Your mom should come for you soon. When she does we can be a happy family again. You dont want to be bones do you when your mom comes back?" I shook my head no

"Then you should probably eat."I finally took a bite of the mac and cheese. This was one of the better days in those 2 weeks.
