Chapter 6

That was my life for the next 7 years at Sarah and Axes now. I was now 13 and Layton was 14.He was still im school . I learned that everyone here is werewolves including my mom which I did not know. Would have been dope though to know. I am in middle and Maddie and Jack are still my best friends. No one knows about my powers still only my mom, Layton, Sarah, and Axe. They have def gotten stronger, I like sitting in the sun in a open meadow and read a book listening to everything around me. I even like going to the stream out back and swim and be in quiet. The quietness has become my best friend in the whole world. I was reading a book on my bed when Maddie came in and sat on my bed.

"You coming to my brothers birthday party?"

"Probley not."

"What why not?"

"Parties...drinking, smoking, dancing something I will not ever know how to do and don't want to learn."

"Oh come on Rosie. Please for me." I sighed I hate parties and this one was Laytons and he is supposed to be the next alpha in this pack so all the girls flock over him. I dont like that the older and older I get the more females flock around him.

"For you Maddie."

"Yes I have just the outfit. " She ran to the closet and some clothes out for us to wear. This would be the time for me to say goodbye to him. Well not goodbye just see you later. He is supposed to be going to alpha training camp for 2-3 years. Which I just have not admitted to myself I dont know what I am going to do when he leaves. I have nightmares when he's not around and I have slept with him every night since I was 6 years old. I have no clue what I am going to do. The party started around 8 or 9 I can remember but Maddie has me wearing this stupid dress that clings to everything I have. Which I mean my mom blessed my in both top and bottom I would just not have the world see them. The music was loud and everyone was dancing we were in the packhouse right in front of the stream out back. Maddie was pulling me to the bar to get a drink. She handed me a red solo up.

"Drink" I sniffed the cup and gagged.

"Yeah no thanks."

"Rosie come on. Just drink this one cup and I wont bother you about dating for the next 2 weeks." I was thinking hard about this. Maddie and Jack tell introduce me to at least 2 guys a week but they just dont get it. I dont want to date and boys are nothing to me right now. I would rather read a book. I shrugged my shoulder and took a gulp. It burned my chest and I made a horrible face i'm sure.

"Jesus how do you drink this. This cant be for fun." I said

"Just finish drinking it." She said and I did what she said. I dont drink as much as Jack and Maddie but they are also wolves so they drink way more than I can and not get affected. I was finished with the drink and I could literally fill it in my veins burning.

"Come on lets dance" Maddie said grabbing my hand. Why not I thought cant be worse than drinking that stuff.

I had lost sense of time since I was dancing. Maddie would have me drink in between dances and I am sure I drank like 3 cups already. My head is buzzy feeling and I was using the potty every 5 min. It was getting late so I told Maddie I would see her at home. I walked out the back door well more like stumbled and I thought why not go for a swim in the stream. That would be really nice. I stripped naked which I have no idea why. I was very hot and wanted to be naked, and jumped right in. The water was amazing and I could help but smile when I came up.

"Maddie know you are here?" Scared the shit out of me but it was just Layton.

"She knows I went home not for a swim. Want to join?" He looked at me with hard eyes he does that a lot lately.

"No thank you."

"Oh come on Layton. Last night here for at least 2 years." He didn't say anything. He just stared at me. The drinks that Maddie gave me had a mind of its own and it makes me say things I dont say out loud normally.

"Well Layton I am going to miss you." He titled his head to the side.

"Really?" Layton had grown since he was 7 he is a hell of a lot heavier and a lot meaner. Never to me though he was always nice to me. His eyes are always hard and never soft when you catch them soft he is usually caught off guard.

"Of course." I had a vine sneaking up from behind him and grab him and pull him into the air to which I laugh.

"Rosie put me down.NOW!"

"say please" He sighed a big sigh

"please" he mumbled. I let him go but into the stream. I was laughing he was not he looked pissed.

"Awe Layton why so mad?" He didnt say anything. He moved closer to me and I always wondered what it was be like to kiss layton. I heard from around school he was good in bed whatever that means. I have no idea.

" Will you be okay?" He asked. I smiled at me he always cared for since that night never let me go out alone. It can be annoying but I know he cares.

"I will try." I said honestly He sighed

"I dont want to go."

"I know i said bringing his forehead to me. Layton and I had an understanding. He calms me down I calm him down everyone in the pack thinks its weird expect my parents and Sarah and Axe they actually understand.

"I will be fine. Dont worry about me."

"The nightmares..."

"I will have to be a big girl eventually."

"What if he comes back?"

"You know your father is going to have someone at my door. We talked about this." He sighed and he grabbed me in a big hug which was awkward because I was naked and I was never naked around Layton.

"Rosie are you naked"

"Yes it was very hot in that house and I wanted my clothes off." He laughed which I dont get to see much of.

"That was probably not a good idea. What if someone came out and saw you?"

"What if they did?"

"I would have their head on a stick" I smiled.

"I am going to miss you so much Rosie." Then he did the thing that I thought would never happen he kissed me. I dont know if its the drinks maddie gave me or the moonlight or being outside in the stream but it gave me goosebumps and it made my hair stand on end and my entire body go on fire. No wonder the kids at school do this. He deepened the kiss and that made everything worse. Everything got times ten worse and I loved it. I never want it to stop...but then it did.

"Cannon ball!" Layton cousin jumped in and Layton released the kiss. Then like 10 more people joined him. Oh my gosh I am naked. I covered myself up.

"Meet me in my room in 20 min?" I nodded. I got out of the stream and went into the house very fast. I ran upstairs to his room and put my clothes back on. I sat on Layton's bed and looked around his room and took a long hard smell. I am going to miss him so much. The beer came over me when I laid down and I passed out. I didn't mean to I really wanted to say bye to Layton before he left but I didn't. I deeply regretted it the next day.
