Moroboshi Dai - A train ride

(Okay, I know that there's not much appearance of Dai Moroboshi in the anime and also in the manga but I did my research. He is also one of the strongest players in the Slamdunk. He's friends with Maki too. I kinda simp this guy because I saw someone who made a fan art about him and I really got attracted to it. okay sorry I'm just expressing myself so here it is. -monz)

You are with Maki and Kiyota on your way to the train station. Maki invited you to come with him to watch for today's basketball game of Aiwa vs Meihou. Since you don't have something to do today and it's making your day boring if you're just at home the whole day. So you accept going with him.

"Monkey!" Both Kiyota and Sakuragi shouted.

You know Sakuragi since he is your neighbor and you are also same school with him, Shohoku. But you are the same year with Maki now. You and Maki are friends since Junior High School though, you didn't went to the same school with him this time.

You already know that Maki have feelings for you ever since he confessed his feelings but you don't feel the same way. You didn't tell that to him of course because you don't want to hurt his feelings. The only reason that you told him was that you don't have time for a relationships since you're focusing in your study. You just only see him as a friend and that stays there. Nothing more. You let him court you many times even if in your mind you reject him already. It's just you're scared to reject him personally. He still hasn't given up yet and still hoping that one day you will finally say yes to him. He even say that he will wait for the right time to pursue you and the day will come that you will fall to him. But guess that won't happen.

As Kiyota and Sakuragi still arguing, you are just staring at them secretly smirking because of their idiocy. You heard Sakuragis's friends calling Maki a coach and they even say he looks old.

You look at Maki and you realized something, he do look mature but he's fine. Though they didn't know that Maki has another hobby why his skin is tan.

"Listen carefully, the national championship is-" Kiyota was cut off getting his head punch by Maki.

"You don't even know about the nationals either! Don't talk about it." Maki said.

You giggled.

"Y/n-san, you're here too?" Sakuragi chimed in.

"You know Y/n-chan?" Kiyota surprisingly asked. Maki was also surprised hearing about it.

"Idiot! of course I do! She's my neighbor." Sakuragi laughs.

"Yes, Kiyota. He's my neighbor." You said trying not to laugh.

"Let's go, we're going to be late for the train." Maki walks as you follow and so is Kiyota.

"Where are you going old man? and why is Y/n-san is going with you?" Sakuragi asked in confused tone.

"We're going to watch a basketball game." You smiled.

"Eh?"

"Have you heard the "Star of Aichi" Sakuragi?" Maki look at him.

"No, I haven't."

I haven't heard of it too.

You thought.

"I knew it!" Kiyota said.

"Are you interested in seeing the level of players in the nationals?" Maki asked and in that, Sakuragi comes with the three of you.

Before riding the train, both Kiyota and Sakuragi stop by the convenience store near the train station and buy something.
