Mito Yohei - I know

You like Hanamichi Sakuragi ever since the day you transferred here in Shohoku but Hanamichi is just so blind about noticing your feelings for him.

"Hahaha! Hanamichi, you're just going to end up having 5 fouls!" Takamiya shouts along with Noma, Ohkusu and Mito.

The red headed guy frustrates hearing his friends laugh on the crowd.

"Hnggg! You shut up! You guys are just making this tensai embarrassed." He shouts towards them.

They have a game against Shoyo and you're with Hanamichi's friends watching their game. Haruko and her friends where there too but you sat beside Mito in the upper benches.

"Hey, don't say that. I know Sakuragi-kun will play great in this game." Haruko said with her cute voice to Hanamichi's friends.

You were about to say the same too but Haruko said it first.

"Ganbatte kudasai! Hanamichi-kun!" You shout to the crowd and you don't care what people says.

Hanamichi get to notice your voice but when he looks up, he only notices Haruko's cheer for him.

To be honest, you envy Haruko because Hanamichi always notice her. And yes she's really cute and pretty. She's also friendly and kind. You like to be friends with her and sometimes, you get to copy her mannerisms but still Hanamichi wouldn't look at you as you.

Mito knows that and when sometimes you get to cry and share your problems, Mito is always there to comfort you.

Rukawa looks up with his boring glare after you shout. You aren't sure if he's looking at you or...

"Rukawa-kun..." Haruko whispered with her eyes turning hearts along with Rukawa's fan girls cheering him above.

Oh, is the weird guy looking at Haruko or me?

"Hey! Let's cheer up for Hanamichi-kun." You said to Hanamichi's friends when you heard the cheering of Rukawa's fan girls are getting louder.

"Ganbatte kudasai, Hanamichi!!" You shouted again along with Hanamichi's friends.

"You're now having three fouls!" Ohkusu and Takamiya teased.

Everyone just laugh.

Throughout the game, Hanamichi didn't get to have a score. All he could think is to dunk the ball to the basket but it's not easy for him to do that. Rukawa has most scores in their game and as always, the crowd is cheering him. Hanamichi end up having five fouls and didn't play on the remaining 6 minutes on the second half just after he successfully dunked the ball.

When the game was finished, all of you went down and walk up to Shohoku basketball team.

You saw Hanamichi drench in his sweat and disappointed in himself because how would he face Haruko with a zero points?

You brought a towel and bottle of water with you so you could give it to Hanamichi.

"Hanamichi-kun! You did great! Here." You handed him the towel and the water bottle and cheered him but his face didn't cheer up. Not even a little.

On your back was Hanamichi's friends teasing him and laughing. When he heard Haruko's voice, his mood shifted to being cheerful.

"Haruko-san!" He called.

"That dunk was great, Sakuragi-kun!" Haruko said.

"But I didn't even get to score, Haruko-san."

"That's fine. You did have the most rebounds." Haruko said smoothly.

As they talk and laugh, you felt insecure looking at them. You don't really have knowledge about basketball but even so, you involved yourself to have little knowledge about it just to get along with Hanamichi and his friends. You also get along with Haruko because she knows more about the said sport.
