A month passed since that happened, you became close friends with Moroboshi through phone calls and text. Though, You don't meet everyday because Kanagawa and Aichi is too far. You only meet him when Maki invites you to come with him to Nagoya, Aichi to watch their practice game with other basketball team. Moroboshi also come to Kanagawa sometimes just to watch practice games and that's where you both would hangout. Maki didn't know about that since he is busy training hard for the Interhigh.

As for the date, Maki just set it aside because of their busy schedule and You understand that. You're not in a hurry too. The thought of reciprocating Maki's feelings towards you, makes you don't know what to do. Like you didn't know if you could reciprocate it. But still you are forcing yourself to have feelings with Maki even if it's just pretending. Maybe because you are now too focused on someone and you're sure that it's not Maki.

"Y/n-san, someone wants to see you. She says she's from Kainan. She wants to talk to you." Your classmate said.

You didn't know someone from Kainan high aside from Maki, Kiyota, Jin and his other teammates. Especially a girl. Who could this be?

You went out to the school gate and you saw a short haired girl waiting for you.

"Um, Excuse me? My classmate said that you were looking for me? May I know you?" You asked.

She seemed shy and nervous to face you.

"I, uh, ca-can we ta-talk?" She said stuttering but this time she started to look serious.

"Okay..."

You let her enter your school and decided to sit on the bench near the football field.

"Uh, why were you looking for me miss?" You asked.

"You are Y/n L/n right?"

"Yes why? May I know you?"

"I am Emiko Tatsuya." She said.

"And I like Maki so much ever since junior high." She said with desperate tone.

You look at her raising an eyebrow and she do look familiar to you.

Ah so that's why she goes to the same school with Maki.

"Why are you making him expect to you? When in fact, it's obvious that you don't want him. Are you trying to play his feelings?" She said annoyingly.

"Miss, You don't have the right to tell me that."

"I know! but you can't just let him expect from you. You even make him wait for yo-"

"I didn't even tell him to wait for me." You cut her off.

"Look miss, I don't know what you know about us. If you want him, go get him. I don't care." You said frankly.

"Huh, you don't really care about his feelings huh? If that's it then I'm going to confess my feelings for him." She raised her voice.

"Please let me have Maki. Please stop giving him motives. Please tell him that you don't have feeling for him and Please stop seeing him!" She cried out pushing you.

"Why would I stop seeing him? he's my friend and he's the one who always comes to me." You said stopping her.

"Why don't you tell him that? You just came here to command me, just who are you to command me like that." You fix your composure.

She was silent. Students are starting to look at the both of you and your friends came up even Sakuragi, Haruko, Ayako and Miyagi witnessed everything. They were shocked. But good thing other people only heard the last part you said.
