Aphrodite was confusing

Aphrodite was confusing.

There was so much I didn't know about her and so much she was hiding, it was an interesting thing to witness.

There are moments with her and Athena that makes me question what happened in their lives.

Athena seems to hate Aphrodite, her own twin, and I can't understand why when it seems like Aphrodite seems to absolutely love and adore her.

I seen the way Aphrodite constantly tries to keep her comfortable and happy but Athena brushes her off completely.

I don't know what is going on with them especially since they used to be so close but I was determined to figure it out.

I knew the last time I seen them they were tiny 3 year olds and a lot changed in 13 years, I just didn't understand.

I remember seeing the resentment and the irony lingering in Athena's eyes when it was discovered that Aphrodite had dropped out of school.

I don't understand why she would let her think that she was uneducated even though from what I discovered she's been in online school for over a year.

Why would she purposely let herself be known as a dropout to her own twin sister at that.

Like most things about their dynamic it confused me.

Although I couldn't understand it, I wouldn't say anything about it to Athena like she requested.

It was only silent for a moment before I saw all of my boys and Athena walking towards us in the food court where we had been waiting for them.

I had asked Aphrodite if she was hungry but she told me no.

It was another thing I was worried about with her.

Her eating habits are very questionable.

During dinner time you could see the wheels turning in her head and the shaking in her hands before she decided she wasn't eating at the moment.

Now that I think about it I don't believe she ended up eating that night anyways. It was worrying.

I will ask her about it soon enough but I've decided to let it be for now.

Trying to shove it onto nerves.

I was brought out of my thoughts as my eldest son started to talk.

"Alright so we're gonna get food first so we have energy to walk around." He told everyone.

As I looked around at everyone my gaze locked onto Aphrodites and it seemed as though she was lost in thought.

Her eyes showed fear before she locked her emotions away like they didn't exist.

I wonder what that was about?

I wonder what that was about?
