There stood Athena. Her entire family standing behind her seemingly trying to stop her from coming in here.

Tears were falling down her cheeks and I felt my heart clench inside of my chest.

Lorenzo stormed into the room looking defeated and angry.

"Get out! She does not need to see you right now." His nostrils were flared and his eyes rimmed red.

He's been crying.

"He's right. Get out of her room." Dad says frustrated. His cheeks stained with tears.

It was then that everything clicked.

They have been hearing everything.

"No! She's lying! TELL THE TRUTH! THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED." She suddenly yelled at me.

The tears started up again before I could stop them.

This is it. It's time.

"I'm not lying." I shake my head at her as the tears slide down my face.

"YES YOU ARE." She nodded her head as she screamed. Her eyes starting to rim with tears.

"NO I'M NOT." I suddenly shouted and the entire room went quiet.

Then before I knew it everything was coming out before I could stop myself.

"Every single thing I've said was the truth. Every little gruesome detail happened. And it happened to me! I protected you for so long Athena and I can't do that anymore. I can't protect you from the truth anymore. I was there Athena! I was at every competition and I was in your hospital room every night even if it meant being punished if I was caught. I lived for you Athena! And I got hurt for you." My voiced trailed off as the tears became too much.

"And you wanna know the sad part? That's not even everything. I was beat within an inch of my life for years everyday because I wanted to protect you. I was forced to do things I didn't want to because they used you against me. I was forced to drink vinegar until my throat hurt as a punishment. I was forced to eat food that always made me sick, or had glass that cut my throat open. I was constantly scared out of my mind. I can't have kids, I can't even think about having a relationship in the future because I'm to scared they're going to want something I can't give them. I'm scared to trust anybody because there are so many bad people in this world even the ones you think you can trust can betray you." The tears slipped down my face at a rapid pace.

"I had ran away. I had finally got far away. I saw him in his uniform. He was standing by his car just standing there. This immense amount of relief filled me when I saw him. I ran to him. I was bruised and bloody. I barely had any clothes and the only thing I thought about was leaving that house. He saw me. There was this look in his eye that immediately told me not to trust him but I wanted to be free so I ignored it. He was friends with them. And all it took was a turn with me for him to forget all about the state he saw me in. He was a cop, but he didn't care." I could feel the air turn stale and I knew this information shocked them.
