"Truth or Dare?"I ask him first and he chooses dare. I look around and try to find something for him to do, which is extremely hard, considering we're in an old shed.
"I dare you..." I begin, and an idea comes to me. "I dare you to sing 'That was yesterday.'" I say with a smirk.
His face drops. "No way, that song is trash!" He exclaims and my jaw drops.
"Trash?!" I tell outraged. "Your stupid loud metal shit is trash, foreigner's music is a work of art."
He scoffs. "And to think, I was actually starting to like you." He says sassily while facing the opposite direction.
We both go quiet.
What the fuck are we doing? Hating on each other based on our musical differences?! The whole situation is completely absurd. It is so absurd that I can't help but burst out in to laughter.
Eddie gives me a weird look. "What the hell is so funny?!" He questions in disbelief and childish rage. I just laugh harder.
"Stop laughing!" He shouts.
I keep laughing and eventually, as if my laughter is contagious, he starts laughing with me.
We stay like that, on the floor, laughing our asses off until we get hungry and get up to see what food's left.
It doesn't take us long to realize that we're out of food. Eddie and I exchange a worried glance before venturing off to the house.
"Ah dang it!" I exclaim as we walk through the door. Eddie gives me a look that says 'what's up?'
"I left my weed in the shed and I'm too lazy to go back." I pout at him.
He chuckles quietly.
"Don't worry," he reassures me as he grabs a can of spaghettios. "I know where Rick's secret stash is."
He leads me to a closet down the hall. He goes to open it, only to realize that it's locked. "Guess your gonna have to get off your ass and get the weed from the garage, Wheeler." He shrugs.
"That's what you think." I tell him smugly.
I run over to the kitchen and open the cutlery drawer. Eddie looks at me weirdly as I grab a butter knife and head back to the closet.
"Watch and learn Munson." I tell him as I stick the knife in the keyhole. I jiggle it around lightly until I know it's in. I turn it carefully and twist the door knob before facing Eddie and opening the door with, what I hope is a cute smile on my face.
"Damn, Wheeler. That's impressive." He praises with a wink.
I blush at the compliment.
We grab some of the weed and make our way over to the kitchen. "Spaghettios ready yet?" I ask as I roll a joint.
"Almost." He answers after stirring the pot a bit.
He picks up the radio to ask Dustin for more food. There was no answer for a while but then Nancy finally picked up.
Eddie asked for a six pack, of all things. Nancy didn't stay long before she got distracted and left.
