Vecna's still out there somewhere and Eleven is on my ass about helping out. She keeps telling me that it's what Aaron would've wanted and even though I know that's true I deny every word she says.I think it's safe to say that I'm in denial.

I look around at my surroundings.
I'm here again. I'm in the upside down.
"Eddie!!" I hear a familiar voice cry. "Eddie?! Dustin?!? El??!! Anybody?!?! Please help!!!!"
Aaron Wheeler
Aaron Creel
Aaron Henderson

My Aaron.
I need to get to my Aaron.
I run towards the voice. I run as hard and as fast as I can.
"AARON!!!!" I shout.
"EDDIE!!!!" I follow closer.
When I reach the voice I am horrified by what I see.
My Aaron is wrapped to a tree by Vecna's vines, screaming in agony while convulsing violently. His eyes are completely blank. Nothing but white covers them.
I rush up to him and grab his face in my hands.
He flinches.
"Hey, hey, Aaron." I whisper softly. "It's me, it's Eddie."
I grab his face in my hands once more and this time he lets me.
"Eddie." He whimpers.
"It's okay, I'm gonna get you out of here. I promise, Aaron." I say.
His face pales and he lets out an ear shattering scream.
•••••
I wake up in a cold sweat.
I think I'm going crazy. Aaron is dead and he's not coming back.
Aaron is dead.
...Aaron is dead.
Aaron is actually dead.
Those three words echo in my head like knives cutting through my skull.
My heart has seemed to finally catch up with my head.
I let out an agonizing scream.
I pant and I sob and I shake.
Jonathan and Argyle burst into the room, looking frazzled. They both glance at me knowingly.
They could tell I was in denial and they've been patiently waiting for me to snap.
Jonathan comes to my side and gives me a hug while argyle passes me a joint. "Purple palm tree delight for your troubles, man."
I take it.
"He's gone!" I sob into Jonathan's shoulder. "He's really gone!!"
