You had only been sleeping for a few hours when you suddenly felt someone or something shaking you. Still groggy you on instinct pulled your pistol out from underneath your pillow & pointed it at whatever was touching you. As your eyesight became clearer you saw that it was none other than your boyfriend who was shaking you awake. Along with him looking slightly panicked from having you pull your weapon on him. You quickly put it away & asked him what he wanted. You didn't even know what time it was, but you hoped it was something important because for once you were actually enjoying your sleep. He sheepishly told you how the monster from the most recent case you were working on was spotted nearby not that long ago. When the words registered in your brain you shot up & started getting dressed along with grabbing your weapons bag. You quickly pressed a kiss to his cheek while you practically sprinted out the door with him jogging after you trying to keep up. Since he knew it'd be safer for him to go with you since it was still dark out.
