Hunter was kissing her! Rae couldn't believe what was happening. For nearly four years she'd wondered what it would be like to feel his lips against hers, but nothing could have prepared her for how it actually felt.
At first the kiss was rough, but once he realised she wasn't going to push him away, he softened it and it became more passionate. Rae wrapped her arms around his neck and Hunter placed his hands on her hips, pulling her against him. His tongue flicked against her lips and she opened them, allowing him access, which he greedily took. His tongue danced with hers like they'd been doing it for years.
Just as Rae felt a bulge press against her stomach, Hunter pulled himself away and spun around.
"Nope! Nope..." He walked to the door. "I should not have done that."
"Hunter..." Rae took a step towards him, but stopped when he turned back to her. His lips looked as kiss swollen as hers felt.
"No! You know what?"
"What?" She asked quietly.
"I'm not even sorry. I've wanted to kiss you for so long and honestly ReRe, that was better than I ever imagined! Holy shit girl! How many guys have you kissed to be able to kiss like that?" Rae opened her mouth. "Nope! Don't actually want to know. I may go and hurt them all." Rae couldn't help the giggle that erupted from her at his rantings. "You're laughing at me?!"
"Hunter, shut up!" She said with a laugh as she walked over to him and placed her hands on his cheeks. "I've never kissed anyone else. I mean Jared Simons tried last year on camp, but I shoved him into the mud for his effort."
"That's my girl! He's gross."
"Right!" Rae threw her hands up slightly for emphasis and stepped back. "Like, try showering once in a while!" They both burst out laughing.
"So I was your first kiss?" The look on his face was so proud it was almost cocky.
"Yeah, you were."
"I shouldn't have kissed you though." Hunter said, growing serious. Rae's face dropped. "I don't regret it Rae!" He said, stepping forward and cupping one of her cheeks. "But I shouldn't have done it. I could get into trouble, because you're still a minor."
"Not like we slept together Hunter." Rae said bluntly. "It was just a kiss." She added, turning towards Amelia's incubator to look at her.
"Just a kiss? Really?"
"Oh shut up! We both know how incredible that was." Rae looked over her shoulder at him.
"Too right it was and you have no idea how much I want to do it again." Hunter grumbled. Rae turned and stepped back towards him.
"So why don't y..."
"No! Nope... Can't do that. You know what? I don't want to be Jared Simons the Second, so I'm going home to shower." He turned around. "I'll umm..." He stopped at the door and took a deep breath, before coming back and kissing her on the forehead. "Yep... See ya later ReRe."
Rae burst out laughing as soon as the door was shut, loving how flustered she'd made the big tough deputy.

"Hey stompy. Why are you pacing?" Ty asked as he walked into Hunter's living room. "Aren't you meant to be staying at your parents place?"
"I'm heading over there soon. Had to shower and grab some clothes to take. No idea how long it'll be before she lets me come back here again."
"You scared Mumma Bear man. Just humour her. Sylvie means well."
"Yeah I know. She's the best."
"And that carbonara. Sublime!" Ty said, kissing his fingertips like an Italian. Hunter chuckled and agreed. His Mum's carbonara was the best. "So why are you pacing? Can't decide what to wear?"
"I kissed her." Hunter spat out without realising he was going to.
"Your Mum?"
"Eww! Ty!" Hunter scrunched up his nose and tried to ignore the visual.
"Sorry. Bit confused here. Who are we kissing?"
"You, as far as I know, aren't kissing anyone right now."
"True that... Unfortunately." Ty mumbled. "And you're kissing?"
"Rae. I kissed Rae man!" Hunter ran his fingers roughly through his hair. "Shit!" He growled, before sitting heavily onto the couch.
"I guess that's that then." Ty said quietly, seemingly lost for words for the first time in his life. He sat on the chair opposite Hunter and looked at his best mate. "So... How was it?"
Hunter looked up at him shocked. That was the last thing he expected Ty to ask. He expected him to go off about how much trouble he could get in and rada rada rah.
"Seriously?" He asked.
"Come on man. It was bound to happen eventually." Ty argued and Hunter gave a small shrug. "So?" Ty prompted.
"Better than I'd ever imagined." Hunter said.
"You should see the stupid ass smile you have on your face right now." Ty laughed and Hunter threw one of the cushions at him, that his Mum made him keep on the couch. "Oi! It's not a bad thing Hunt! Honestly I'm jealous." Hunter grabbed another cushion, only this time he wanted to throw it in anger. "Not because of Rae you idiot!" Ty added quickly, shielding his face from the potential cushion attack. "Just in general. I wish I could find someone that made me have that look on my face. Well, the previous happy look, not the angry wanna kill your best friend look that was there a second ago." Hunter laughed and put the cushion down.
"Sorry. I guess I'm a bit possessive."
"Ya think?!" Ty's eyes went wide in mock shock, which turned to actual shock when Hunter lobbed the cushion at him after all.
"Maybe if you tried focusing on one person, rather than jumping into whoever opens their legs for you, you'd have a better chance." Hunter gave him a sarcastic shrug.
"I haven't been like that for years and you know it Hunter." Ty actually sounded offended.
"Who is it this week? Tina from the bank? Sarah from Woolies or Constable Lucy?"
"Tina was last week, Lucy is tomorrow night..."
"And Sarah?" Hunter pushed.
"Next Thursday." Ty said bashfully.
"Exactly, so don't give me your shit man."
"Whatever. At least none of them are minor's."
"Low blow Ty... I know I shouldn't have done it, but I don't regret it. Not for a second and like Rae said... It's not like we slept together. It was just a kiss."
"So you made her feel like shit afterwards?" Ty laughed.
"Man I was so fucking flustered afterwards that I could barely string a sentence together. I had to turn away from her, readjust and get both heads back on straight. She laughed her ass off at me the minute I shut the door and left." Hunter shook his head at the memory of hearing her laugh, but it hadn't even offended him, because he knew he deserved it and he loved hearing her laugh again.
"That's gold!" Ty laughed. "I've always liked that girl. She's good value." He shook his head at the mental image and chuckled. "So what instigated this kiss anyway?"
"The last few days have been hectic man and we were both so emotionally charged from it all. I was so happy to be back safe and she was happy about that too, but also upset because she'll be losing Milly soon and some heavy shit was brought up. I was trying so hard to keep myself under control, but then she went and told me that her feelings for me stopped being a schoolgirl crush years ago and my control just..."
"Snapped." Ty finished for him and Hunter nodded.
"Next thing I know I'm kissing her, waiting for her to push me away and tell me to piss off, but instead her arms are wrapping around my neck and... Fuck me dead..."
"I'm sure she'd rather fuck you alive."
"Tyler!"
"Sorry... Actually nah, I'm not. We both know I'm right."
Hunter groaned as he covered his face with his hands and leaned back against the couch.
